This is an extended scene from "Der Untergang" Extended Edition. In this scene, Traudl and others escape the Reich Chancellery through the ruins of Berlin. They use Berlin Underground to escape, and Traudl witnesses the brutal reality of war. Hundreds of civilians and wounded soldiers are gathered, and many wounded scream because of pain. Doctors operate wounded ones while Iron Cross medals which became meaningless are being thrown away to the soldiers. Traudl's group managed to go across the bridge, but the following group was annihilated by the Soviets. In theatrical edition, many scenes were cut out, including Mohnke's group encountering a soldier and a bunch of civilians in the tunnel, and Constanze Manziarly, who was Hitler's personal cook, gives up and refuses to go on.
