This airsal cilinder is the best ciilnder I have ever seen for this price (€140). A lot of people hate on Airsal but they don't know sh*t.. All my friends and me have this cilinder and nobody had any trouble. I drove it for like 10k km. But I sold my Derbi. A friend of me has this cilinder and has a jollymoto 80, he drives 13k + rpm and the cilinder keeps performing perfectly. And for everyday use it is great too! 10/10 would recommend.
@@DILLY_DING Adjust main jet is a reference to going up or Down in main jet. Go up in main jet until it bogs and then go 1 Down. Main jet controls How much fuel it gets. Higher = more
Het is alweer een aantal jaar geleden, maar er zal altijd wel wat uitkomen. Als je de slang bij je radiator eerst loshaalt en op die manier de koelvloeistof eruit haalt dan zit je goed👍
I have a 20pk tzr, I did not feel like spending lots of money on my other moped. It drives a lot more relaxed without a powerband, and I like torque at any rpm
Car&BikersAmbition Thank you really much! I have the same moped as you! Derbi Senda 2016. Nice to get an an answer although the video is 10 months old! Have a nice day!🤩👍🏼
Do you think i will have more speed with this 70cc cylinder plus a Hebo Sport exhaust? With 14:59? Now i have 13:59 with the exhaust only and I reach about 90 km/h, do you think i will get more speed with a sport cylinder or just "power"?
You will gain 10kmh from the 14 sprocket, and probably another 10/25kmh from the 70cc (depends on the exhaust, if it is a 50cc exhaust you won’t gain a lot but only restrict it. If it is a 50/70 or a 70cc exhaust you will gain a ton of speed!) but most of all a lot of extra torque! I would recommend sticking to 50cc if your exhaust is made for 50cc cilinders :)
Hello :). Did you continue to use the oil pump? or did you mix it yourself directly in the fuel tank? If so how much % right after and in the long run?
I mixed all my mopeds by hand. No oil pomp. But with my Derbi I did use the oil pump cuz I was lazy. The oil pump broke after ~8k kms and it seized 😋. I recommend mixing by hand. My derbi had stock exhaust so mixing 1:50 was plenty. I always used Motul800
I was using the oil injector. Because I was to lazy to pre mix it myself.. Until the oil injector broke and my cilinder seized.. I would 100% recommend to pre mix and to shut off the oil injector.. even if your moped is brand new
What torque did u do the cylinder head of the 70 and did I premix or not bc I was thinking getting it without doing too much mods just a sprocket and a 70
I recommend using premix instead of oil pump. And I did not use a torque wrench, just by hand ;). If you want you can lookup the torque specs on the internet or in the manual that comes with your cilinder.
I use Motul800 offroad, you will be fine mixing it 1:50 (with the motul) but I always premixed it 1:40/1:45, when it is a brand new cilinder I recommend 1:40
@@carbikersambition57 ohh but that's the reason I watched your video. I am unable to find a clear guide on this. Can you point me to a video that explains this perhaps?
5:55 do you see the tube from the cilinderhead to the radiator? Disconnect it on the radiator side. Fill it until it starts flowing out of the radiator, then connect the tube again. And you are done👍
It seized because my oil pump broke. Depending on how you ride your moped and how much oil you mix with gasoline, you can easily ride 20.000km before replacing a piston👍
i feel like a king over here in the uk with a near stock aprilia sx 50 same as derbi senda with only technigas exhaust airsal 50cc cast iron 14/53 gearing and pusing 62 mph lol and now with an airsal 72cc with 15/48 gearing pushing 80mph flat apparently (so said my mate in his car behind me) but had 72 on speedo but the speedo wire is breaking so it could be a false reading
on airsal 50cc i was getting 69 overrevving downhill and idk about airsal 72cc dont wanna push it that hard already killed it once and i haven't got that much money now lol
Max speed I achieved with the 50cc is 82 gps (perfect conditions) en 92 with the 70cc (somewhat less perfect conditions). Those speeds were the absolute limit. Average I would reach like 66 kmh gps with the 50cc and ~76 with the 70cc
@@carbikersambition57 my 50cc reaches 78kmh with 13/53 sprockets, weird that 73cx airsal isnt reaching more top speed. How about acceleration? Much better than 50cc ?
@@ghazik3656 A bigger cilinder is not for top speed, it is for more torque, (top speeds will slightly increase) but if you want top speed, buy an exhaust, not a cilinder. my 70cc does not reach more because my stock exhaust stops at like 10k rpm. If I put a bigger sprocket front or smaller back then my top speed would increase, just less fast acceleration. It is not weird, because 2 stroke is about the exhaust, not cilinder. that is 4 stroke. And acceleration is much better indeed! ;D
It is cheaper to buy cylinder than exhaust. Accelaration isnt that important for me, i just want the top speed to be about 90kmh. With 15/53 sprockets maybe i can reach that. Isnt it dangerous to go over 10k rpm with stock crankshaft too? My mileage is 23k tho.
@@ghazik3656 Cilinder is cheaper indeed, but for either acceleration or top speed would I recommend exhaust instead of the cilinder. It is not dangerous to go over 10k rpm with the stock crankshaft. As long as you make short sprints. I would buy like a doppler endurance race crankshaft if i were you. Good crankshaft and with new bearings and you are good to go beyond 14k+ rpm ;D
A lot of my friends have big setups like 72cc airsel with a voca 50/70 exhaust and a 21mm carb and after so many miles no problems with the crankshaft so no if u run it in properly and don't go full crazy on the first time ur good
a clinder is only as good as the Setup. I bought a 80cc polini but id changed almost nothing, but as soon as i changed the exhaust the perfomance gain was insane. What bike do you ride and what do you use it for?i can make you a satisfying Setup if you want^^
@@carbikersambition57 why the fuck you guys use the stock exhaust. My derbi senda 2018 has stock 50cc and with scr corse hm cross chrome exhaust. Has around 11-13hp.
I used this cilinder before so I did not need to run it in, just had to take it easy on the first km's. If you have a brand new one, I suggest you read the manual on how many km's you have to run it in. If you can't find that information: I suggest you run an aluminum nikasil in for at least 500km, and if you have a cast-iron one 1500km. Pre-mix it a little richer but not too rich, take the first 30km's or so very easy. Don't go above 4/5k RPM. after that you can slowly increase the RPM's. I suggest you don't go above 6k rpm until you drove about 100/150km's or so (you can pre-mix it less rich now if you want). When you reach about 200 km's you can give it little sprints to 7/8k rpm but I suggest you don't go any higher than that until you ride it in for at least 400km. After that, you can go up to 9k RPM. When you reach 500 km (on a nikasil cilinder) you are good to go, but I still recommend you don't get too crazy with the RPM's. I don't know what kind of exhaust you have, but if you have a stock exhaust you can give it full throttle. This is how I ran in all my mopeds. I suggest you use oil like Motul 800. I ran my 25BHP TZR on that and the cilinder was still brand new after 8K km's of pure madness (15/16K RPM) :D ( I pre-mixed it 3% tho)
@@carbikersambition57 Fit new cylinder I do not change connecting rod basket or cage that is a dirty one that lasts less the basketast️🤷♂️, I do not know what mechanical class I have done that to you because that is dangerous pole in a new cylinder both in the long run as for filming Mocking Basket
@@carbikersambition57 but in your description it says that everything except the cilinder is stock and i have same exact senda and it had originally a restricted cdi which wont let you rev past 9500rpm
