We stayed last summer in Duba Plains, camp where Beverly and Dereck live. And I would go back in a heart beat. Camp itself is beautiful but seeing those magnificent animals is experience that will stay with you forever. I wish there were more people who are as passionate about wildlife as them.
These two are the epitome of soulmates! How many people in this world can say they found their true soulmate like these two?? Very few! I wish I find my soulmate like these two have found each other.
Congratulations Dereck and Beverly. Experiencing Africa through your images has engraved a lifelong passion for wildlife cinematography and its place in Conservation Science. Your work filming at night was for me a huge step in teaching us how little we know about the African night.
Please consider staying up to date on what the Jouberts are doing in their campaign to save Africa's animals. Pleae follow them on Facebook, Great Plains Conservation .
+Matthew Joubert Matt, are you serious? How old are you? That's sweet. Can you contact me. I have always had a passion for animals and have always wanted to do what the Jouberts do. I am 29. =D
Question for the jouberts- after the mother lion had to give up and abandon her terminally injured cub, why didn't you do something to palliate the awful situation?
what bullshit. Like seeing a predator with a full stomach keep a prey animal alive for some amount of time. I saw cats keep mice alive for minutes when I was younger than ten yrs old. Why are these people trying to pretend a leopard holding alive a baby baboon (that couldn't escape if it had the chance) is some once in a lifetime incident? Same reason they do everything else out there... $$$$. It isn't about truth if you are doing it for money.
