I look at it this way. Last preseason when the starters played they went right down the field and everyone got so excited. Then regular season came and they struggled. I’d rather the starters struggle now and then put extra work and effort in to fixing things & be better when the season comes.

New Orleans Saints have a few more weeks to adapt to the offense and work out kinks before the first regular season game. Luckily, they play the Panthers which gives them some breathing room.

I think people are more hyped up to see what the Saints can do so that's where the disappointment may lie. It's still preseason though. I wouldn't start the hate train for 2 drives that didn't mean nothing.

In other words, if the Carr hate train leaves station A at 3:45pm, and the Rattler hype train heads the opposite direction from station B at 4:15pm and the distance between them is the yards gained between the 20s and the yards gained in the red zone for 3/4 of the season...

Yah I'd say ppl need to pump the breaks hard. I have to say that seeing Carr's efforts this offseason and especially that other press conference you covered really made me give him a little bit more credit than I have last year. I'm gonna be dropping a grand on the over 7.5 win total and think it's pretty much free money coming just in time for Xmas :)

I overreacted. But now that I think about it, why would the offensive line do anything that can risk getting them injured in preseason. That's why AZ's defense looked like studs because our Oline let them through on purpose. Understanding that, I'm not that worried about the season anymore and believe the Saints will win at least 12 games this year. WhoDat!!!

Idk how you come into a preseason game or watch one and say I need my team to be Super Bowl winning team, I need DC to have 300 yards and 5 TD, DA to be the greatest defensive mind ever, OL needs to be like 90’s cowboys OL, this and that like brother it’s preseason who cares. Spoiled fan. You realize we went 9-8 with Dennis at the helm? He is doing everything he needs to do as a head coach. He went out and made moves for improvement. Knew our offense needed changing and got new staff. Derek Carr had 25-8 td to int ratio under Pete. We were top 10 in ppg year believe it or not we just sucked at 3rd down conversions. Literally O-line and Wr depth is the only issue

And as a head coach I’m sure he is mindful of that and will try to make changes. But there really aren’t any good o-lineman in the free agency rn. So why waste money on another “project”? Might as well believe in what you got in the room and what you been seeing day to day.

People must of forgotten Carr didn't get comfortable in the offense til week 12. I feel bad for ya James if you betted the over ...I said this last year this team will suck 3-5 years we are in year 2. 6-11 is my prediction this year. If the line can't hold up it's game over. Because if they can't get 1st downs the def will tire and it's game over ....right now and for the past month they trying to sell tickets, except this year most fans found something else to do on Sundays

If everyone didn't notice are defense was lights out and we was minus about 4 starters two of them are best players demario,latty, so what im saying is our offence will get a lot of chances. So if there just middle of the pack in offense, we will host a playoff game. Calm down saints fam. Plus u could tell they wasn't calling any plays that will probably be called in the regular season.

I know Kubiak isn’t going to show his hand in preseason no different than Payton did. I’m not concerned with that, I’m mainly concerned again with Carr. I don’t like Kubiak in the press box because DC isn’t mature enough and needs Kubiak to chew his ass out sometimes. I want DC on his toes.

I’m getting tired of Carr too. The interview after the last good practice before this game he talked like Joe Biden pre dementia. He’s just goofy, he needs to show some fire, drop the small talk and get his shit together. If he sucks for a few games regular season I see Kubiak putting Rattler in.

Carr has consistently been one of the most accurate QB's in the NFL, even grading out as the most accurate multiple times. Adjusting to another new system is not the same thing as having accuracy issues.

Huh? Carr is one of the most accurate QB’s in the league.. he is who he is. Typically ranks top 10 in terms of accuracy when you look over his whole career. Really good QB, not great. Now if you’re going to say he is a loser in terms of a team stat. Absolutely he is. You also need to acknowledge he also played for a dysfunctional organization for almost a decade. Derek in the redzone, absolutely needs more work, but the truth is he hasn’t ALWAYS BEEN ASS. Before Gruden he was a top half of the league QB in the redzone a lot of people don’t know that..
