Derek Branning was an excellent character, but wasted immensely under poor writers. Derek could have had some of the best storylines going but instead, they didn't really do much with him in the short time he was in the show. Shame

Nobody is better than Grant, Grant is the best character EastEnders has ever had. Fearless, charming, funny, charismatic and as hard as nails.

kye okeefe I'm pretty sure they didn't "bury him alive". If I remember correctly Jim, Max's dad, locked him in a coffin (or something similar) for hours. Don't recall Derek having anything to do with it.
