Gaya nga ng sinabi nya pinag-iisipan nya ng maigi lahat ng ginagawa nya. Siguro masasabi natin na sa mga past relationships nya eh although mahal nya yung tao pero not to the point na nakikita nyang makakasama nya habambuhay. Minsan talaga siguro once na meet mo yung taong inilaan ng Diyos para sa iyo eh hindi importante kakakilala mo pa lang yung tao. Ma-fi-feel mo talaga yun eh.

I can’t be away from my family.” Derek has been through a couple of relationships, promised them marriage as well but got married with Ellen in just a few months of being together and Is now semi-retired in showbiz because he can’t be away with his family. 'Your kids when they're old enough they will figure out who you are'. Sobrang agree ako about this kasi habang tumatanda ako nakikilala ko kung sino talaga yung mama ko at ugali nya. So far ayoko ng mga nakikita ko at ayokong maging katulad nya. Hinding hindi ako magiging katulad nya lalo na at magiging nanay na rin ako next year

It’s so hard to judge a person easily and honestly i judged this guy but i am so sorry i was wrong .I am a fan now he is a man with dignity,integrity,a man with so much respect to give.I thought he was just playing music with Ellen but my gosh Derek is such a gentle giant.

Derek is really a good man. When we had a medical mission for his birthday in his home at Palawan, he was not a celebrity. He even cleaned their pantry and sorted out things. Eat with us, and the family gave us superb accommodation in their beautiful rest house. Thank you for such experience.
Yung upbringing mo tlga as a person really matters, if lumaki lang orphan or wlaang tatay, it manifests on how you raise your kids too, kahit anong gawin mo may ambag ang parents mo sayo, mapameron or wala. Super swerte ng mga taong may nanay at tatay na maayos

Thanks Derek and Toni for having him. I relate a lot to Ellen and Derek. Coincidentally, my fiancé’s name is also Ellen and also a single mom but of three. Our relationship being BF/GF turned to engagement pretty quick. We are 20 years apart, I’m the younger one. I’m 30 she is 50. Being a Dad of three respectful and great kids only shows how great of a woman she is. She was an OFW for 20 years, just to raise her kids alone. Now, I live my life ensuring her that she has assurance and most definitely, no longer having another broken family and future marriage.
When the news boomed about Ellen and Derek, I instantly followed them in IG. They are great couple. No pretensions, so sincere and raw. Sa mga nagbabalak magpakasal, madaming mapupulot na aral sa mga sinabi ni Derek. Totoo na dapat complete package ka na as a person, matured mag isip and willing to compromise to your partner dahil ang pag aasawa ay walang expiration date, no return no exchange. As a single mom.. this is what i am teaching my son..and after he watched it with me i told him na this is the reason why i always sit down with you when you did something wrong..i want you to know and acknowledge that it is not good and you will learn.. Also as a single mom.. it is great that he has matured.kase when you are a single mom and been into relationships if your man is insecure they will always compete with your attention.tendencies pa e ilalayo nya loob mo sa anak mo. That is why I always say I am contented with what I have. I have peace, I am contented and w/everything that I am lacking it is always the Lord that will provide for us. But if the Lord would blessed me with a man that would understand that my son is w/me through ups and downs,that this son has formed the woman he fall inlove with and would fully accept that once and until now I am not perfect and would,and have and will make mistakes then he is welcome.. I know that not everyone has a chance like ellen to derek and derek to ellen.atleast at night I am at peace and will always be happy for these people.

I agree with derek don't settle or have a family if you're not financially and emotionally stable. Sobrang hirap kung mag family ng maaga ang ending aasa ka parin sa magulang mo.

My husband proposed to me when we we’re two weeks together. He was 33 and I was 23 but it’s true you will know if he or she is already the right one. Praise God we are celebrating our 14th year anniversary ❤ soon. God has always the right one for everyone.
