I have been using the omnilux for about 6 months. 10 minutes, four to five days a week. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! My dark spots have disappeared and my lips look more firm and lush. In fact, my dermatologist asked if I had lip injections. My overall skin just looks more dewey. Can't wait to see what it looks like a year from now. I am 60. Never too late to start good skin care habits.

Hey folks! Just wanted to share my own experience with red light therapy after diving into the research you've discussed. I’ve been using a red light panel from Future Form Official, a company based in Norway. Honestly, the results have been pretty impressive. I've struggled with chronic back pain for years, and regular sessions with this panel have really made a difference in reducing my pain and inflammation. What sold me was not just the effectiveness but also the price point - it's surprisingly affordable compared to other options out there. The panel is well-built and powerful, and I felt like I got a lot of value for what I paid. I’ve been recommending it to friends who are looking for similar relief without breaking the bank. Thanks for all the informative content here; it really helped me make a confident choice!

May be a bit late to be answering you but I had the Currentbody one and the connector has developed an issue. So it lasted for around two and a half years. Is that good value for the cost? I've been reading so many studies on wavelength and wound care - it's so fascinating. One study stood out, 60ish participants over 12 wks, control group just washed their face and used blue light therapy for 10 mins. The others washed, used AHA then did blue light therapy. The aha group showed a huge reduction in acne. I have been doing this for 6 months, about twice a week and I can count on one hand the pimples I've had. Take that, cystic acne. Also, I read a lot of studies for wound care, healing and red light therapy. It's so fascinating how it supports collagen production. After wearing N95s for my 12hr ICU shifts, I do 3 to 5 mins of red light therapy to help my skin maintain its elasticity. Total humble brag but my skin looks way better than before covid and I wear so many masks. I love knowing there are others out there who geek out over these studies too!

YES you’ve described one major reason why I appreciate this channel and find it to be so refreshing!! Not easy to find a de who’s got it all: dedicated to the scientific method and up on research, respects the psychology and emotions, respects that you’re not a moron with misaligned values (those are subjective, anyway), respects your hard earned money, finds the actual problem and targets a systematic and simple as possible way to treat, AND is efficient at communicating all of those things. Out of everything, the worst is when you’re mocked and not respected. That makes everything else go out the window.

@@mailesmith168 I went to my dermatologist (switching for the next time) a month ago with three problems: toenail trauma, hyperpigmentation and yearly mole checkup. She only focused on the last one. Once she pronounced them all ok, she didn’t care for the “esthetic” problems I have. She tried to say goodbye and leave the room to see next patient twice and I had to stop her and ask about those, even though I told her at the beginning that I have more questions and which. So glad I found you guys. I sold my expensive EMS device, which hurt me, and am going to sell my expensive microcurrent device. I've gotten the best benefit, even though I am early in to trying out home treatments, with LED. I also just added retinaldehyde and just started following the morning and nighttime routine given in another video with the products that were mentioned. I just received my Dr. Pen and will add that in every six weeks, safely of course. You guys have really saved me. I was going down the rabbit hole of YT videos on devices. Thank you so much for your videos!!!

I have the OBAA LED BEAUTY MASK . It has 7collors. I've had mine for about 7 months it didn't come w/ instructions so I looked them up on Google. OBAA is the brand name of mine. It's very simple it's like putting on a pair of glasses I got it on Morning Save & it was $ 39. I've seen them on sale again & it was $29. I love it because it's very light weight & you don't have to keep it plugged in. So I can walk around with it on. Check it out Ladies & men again it's called ( OBAA ) Happy Hunting to all Oh & it works Great. ❤️💙💚🧡💜🩵🤍All the colors in my LED FACE MASK. Bye🙋 Have a Blessed 🙏day Susie Q.

When I lived in London about 25 years ago RLT was new to the market for anti-aging. At a salon I went to one of the workers was using the RLT lamp. I actually watched her skin look younger over a few months. I was sold. I’ve been using one off and on since then. I’m 60 next month. RLT and collagen supplements have kept me looking 10 years younger. I’m always getting asked what I do.

Also helped heal a long term tendon injury on my wrist. Literally been life changing

Thank you so much taking the time out of your busy schedule reviewing the LED Masks Trend! This was informative and educational video, especially on what BLUE light and RED light does for us if we purchase a LED Mask for us to do at home instead seeing our esthetician/dermatologist's office. ALOT people get so influenced by celebrities, influencers, on RU-vid, IG, FB, Tik Tok, who are non licensed dermatologists marketing these masks that the audience will think if it works for them it work on themselves. Everyone has different skin, no one is the same. Again thank you for this review, appreciate it so much! Have a great one!

Great info. I had a free red light facial from my friend who has her own beauty salon, she's been wanting me to experience. Now I need to buy a home mask and am doing the due diligence research; this was extremely helpful. I am 75, so, anything to help reverse the aging process; I am very cautious, so just want to be well informed. My skin is healthy, however, those unforgiving bright lights in gyms are sooo revealing.

I remember these red lights in the health spas in the 70s and 80s. The older ladies claimed it helped with pain and good for the skin. I am WoWed that there is scientific studies to back up the claims from them ladies. Now I have to get one to see if it can help both in aging and arthritis.

“Dr. Maxfield Sometimes has good ideas” haha. Here for the comments. 😉 I just ordered an omnilux, and I cannot wait to start treating my skin. These devices may have less power, but they DO sit closer to the skin, I would think that would require less power than the devices we use in office. My suggestion for video content would be Dr. Maxfield and Dr. Shah bloopers. Beside the no bs advice, this is what I find adorable with the connection you both have. Not overly rehearsed, and very personable. Keep up the good work! Ps... I work in oculoplastics, I would highly suggest protecting the eyes, it may be a very long time before the studies are out on any damage that these devices may be causing on the fundus , and then may be too late for some. Better be safe than sorry later on!

I have watched SOOO many of your TikTok’s, but I finally made it to your RU-vid! As an Esthetician student (soon to graduate!), I really appreciate all the knowledge you guys share! I was wondering if you guys could talk about professional machines (like LED, hydra facial/other microdermabrasion, etc.) and discuss 1. are they worth the money (for a professional & for the client) 2. if the most expensive ones are really the best/necessary 3. of course it’s best to avoid the amazon dupes, but are there more affordable options that are safe and deliver results? I know this might be a more targeted video to skincare professionals… and maybe it’s something you do in a patreon type setting for licensed estheticians?? It might not appeal to your entire audience. But as a soon to be esthetician, the deals on these types of machines are tempting. Especially when the price tags on top of the line machines are so high. But of course I don’t want to get something that is unsafe, or won’t give my clients results. I could really use some professional input - especially from somebody who isn’t trying to sell me something. Lol. Thanks guys.
