I work at Marshalls and the amount of skincare we get compared to when I started YEARS ago has greatly increased. I’ve noticed companies catch onto the cash grabs especially with product packaging. Thank you for doing another TJ Maxx/Marshalls vlog!
I want to thank you, Dr Dray, for helping me downsize, simplify and most importantly educate me about my skin, while saving money. It’s a great feeling to have on the day that Caroline Hirons launches 2 new skin care kits and I don’t feel any less for not having one, I don’t need to financially consider the possibility of buying one, I don’t even feel the need to check what products are on those famous kits. All because of you. Thank you for detoxing me 💖
These videos are literally ASMR for me with the bonus of being informative and accented with just the right amount of witty humor. Thank you, Dr. Dray!
It's a relief to watch videos when people can actually go out and see the sunlight. I've been in quarantine for months and there's no sign of positive news here. Thank you for your video!
Your Shop With Me videos are my fav!!!! I learn so much in a short period of time, but it's also because your commentary is always so entertaining! Thank you!!!
LOVE THESE. I shop at Ross/Marshall’s often and sometimes i find some great treasures amongst the not-so-great (if not totally expired) skincare products
I purchased both the Nuventin and Advanced Clinicals Retinol Body Creams at Ross! They both have the exact same ingredient list and order, and they both look and feel the same (light and creamy texture, slightly streaky but absorbs quickly and helps avoid skip areas). They are even both manufactured in Chicago, 60642! 😮 Maybe one company manufactures it, but also sells the formula/cream to other brands under a different label? The Nuventin one is “powered by science” per the label, while the Advanced Clinicals adds “Science vs. Wrinkles” y “Ciencia v. Arrugas” to I suppose reassure us of each other’s efficacy 😂
Advanced clinicals discontinues one of the best Anti cellulite gel. Not sure if it worked on cellulite but it was so good at toning and anti-chafing also absorbed within minutes to fully nothing, no residue, no film, just firm skin. If you can find it in any stores - snatch it, you won't regret. Or send them a letter to have it back. No mineral oil too. Now their products have mineral oil
I recently developed sensitivity to First Aid Beauty cream. I used to love it but my skin hates it. My skin got so red and irritated, I had to go back to my tried and true CeraVe. I bought the CeraVe with pramoxine and my skin felt instantly soothed. Thanks Dr Dray
I've been searching thru the comments to find out more about First Aid Beauty cream, I didn't know they had sold out. Does anyone know when that happened? The cream irritates/burns my skin after Tretinoin. @firstaidbeauty I'm So disappointed.
@@LoriGriner I think the extracts and/or the eucalyptus oil becomes more irritating after using actives like tretinoin . I'm doing my best to avoid the essential oils
Ooh! I have that galactomyces toner. I liked it! However, I still think pyunkang Yul is the daddy for hydration especially when you have sensitive skin.
Hi there Dr. Dray💜 Well..the Verdio sunscreen burned like 🔥 However, the Canmake Mermaid is AWESOME!! Combo sunscreens r my way to go I've realized . Pure chemical burns and pure mineral dries💜🌻
my marshall’s actually had the simple refreshing face wash (the version from the uk)! no clue why they’d have it, but I tried it and like it a lot! similar to the micellar gel wash but lathers a little better.
Good morning, Nada! I was a BIG Stones freak in the early 70s, loved almost every song they did. I played this song over and over and over after my father died in 1973!🥺The world, as I knew it, had ended, and this song reflected that feeling so well!
I can’t use certain ingredients because I have an allergic reaction so I read labels before I buy them especially certain foods like Mangos, papayas coconut Guayaba
Happy Thursday, Dr Dray! I’m really enjoying these shop with me videos. I had no idea that First Aid Beauty sold out. Too bad because there were a few of their products that I enjoyed. Thanks for all of your time you give up so that we can become better educated with our skin care. Hope you have a tranquil evening. 😘
You are really upping your color palette with your blouses. Very cute! My Marshall’s and TJMaxx are definitely not this well stocked. I have found some decent items at both stores at very reasonable prices. Have a great day Dr. Dray and thank you for your wisdom. 😎💄❤️Kathy 😷
Thanks for helping us get through the product weeds at Marshalls! Covid stress has my hair thinning, thinking about the laser helmet you recommended a while back. Doctors push for stress management but things are hard these days!
As someone who loves the skincare section at Marshalls, but has also been suckered into one too many impulse buys, I found this both educational and entertaining. Hopefully I'll be able to curb some of those needless purchases next time I'm there lol
I use the Neutrogena moisture Spray at night on my back because I can’t reach it. Then I just rub a little with my towel. It’s better than nothing. There are some companies that even make a back acne spray for that reason.
I always get real iffy with any discount chain’s beauty products because who knows how old the active ingredients are. I guess that goes for anywhere but you know most of these products were pulled from other stores already.
Happy Thursday Dr Dray and everyone 😀I have a Marshall's about 3 blocks from my job. You can spend a whole lunch hour wandering those beauty aisles .have a fabulous day love to mom and Tybee 🥰❤💙🌸🌸
I have a beanie baby collection as well ! I did use them as ornaments on a xmas tree when my kids were young…guess will have to save it for my grandkids : ). Marshalls is my favorite place to shop for quality and value, so thank you for this video. But I have to say it‘s almost sensory overload (esp in the skin care section). I almost always walk out empty handed because I can‘t narrow down what to get when there is 100 choices.
Hi Dr. Dray, I was rewatching some older vlogs lately and was wondering if your still using your Soybella? I have one myself and found it cool that you do too 😊
Hi Dr Dray! Love your videos! I’ve recently been trying many products from Geek and Gorgeous(a Hungarian brand) and loving them, was wondering if you would consider reviewing the brand! Especially the retinaldehyde since it’s so hard to find an affordable retinaldehyde
I think she's working on it but in the meantime, No BS Beauty loves that brand. Aliceintherabbithole has reviewed them as well along with Doctor Anne (germany).
I have a recommendation for u to try! In europe in my country we have some popular sunscreens that like are the most popular at the moment. Avene B-protect, Avene Intense Protect, SVR sun secure blur and SVR sun secure extreme. No white cast very good for every type of skin and of course tested so they give the protection they promise. I recommend them because i don t see any difference from others that are now like popular in the states. They re also like very affordable. If u have a chance to find them there just know it s good stuff and worth a try. Ah also avene has more sunscreens for each skin type like they invest a lot in that, I really like their sunscreens.
@@db-gb5xi those are new she never saw them or tried… believe me i saw her videos i wouldn’t pop a question like that before at least informing myself.
@@db-gb5xi i think i saw him before. I searched now again. But is he dermatologist tho? He reviewed only one from the 4 ones i mentioned. And from the other brand he reviewed something else not what i said in particular.
It's just too bad that i'm ALWAYS asleep at night whenever Dr Dray uploads her vids (i'm from the Philippines). I would love to comment early so i'd have a chance to get a reply or "like" from her! But sleep is also life, lol.. 😄❤️
Wrote to Olay after I bought Olay at Marshall’s which was so sticky. Their customer Service responded with info regarding copy creams manufactured in other countries but sold as genuine Olay. It is as the extremely difficult packaging like a grenade.
Would love if you would address the 24k gold skincare products on the shelves of places like tj maxx, ross, burlington coat factory, ect. They usually come in a mask form but Ive seen some 24k gold serums as well... Ive always been tempted to buy some, but am afraid of wasting my money lol.
Your TJ Maxx/ Marshall's stores in the BigH are definitely killing it stockwise in both the skincare & makeup departments apparently, as the ones near me in Memphis have not had much selection the last few times I've looked. Also, your stores look much cleaner & better organized. The ones in my area are usually picked-over, & people constantly open the packaging, take things out, swatch the makeup 🤢, & may or may not put it back (doing the ole "5-finger-discount" ). We need that ink-protected packaging that you talked about for sure. 😬
Do you like Bliss products? I like them even though they do have some fragrance. They’re not tested on animals and the Drench & Quench moisturizer is really nice. It’s good for my oily skin I think.
New sub here! I'm from Mexico, however I do travel to Cali from time to time (business trip actually), and I took a few items from Marshalls or Target for my skin care routine, yet I've always buy products blindly 😆 Your video will help me for my next visit !! (Sorry for my bad English)
Greetings Dr. Dray hope u r well n 🖐Hello Every1 n Happy Thursday😀n what a Wonderful Vid.... thanks n I love your Shop with u🔥👍n Continued Blessings to All💜....
My stores are hit or miss. That’s why I go a couple of times a week🤣🤣. My best finds lately have been Tony Moly sets that were marked down to nearly nothing. I only go when I have plenty of time to “dig” cause my stores aren’t very organized.
I bought the Advance Clinicals retinol lotion (which I really like) and because I work outside I bought their Vit C lotion as well. I have tried soooo many different Vit C lotions and especially serums from many different brands and I have never had a bad reaction to anything. Ever. But with the advance clinicals vit c I got the worst reaction I’ve ever had! Anywhere on my body my UV protective clothing didn’t cover ended up, after 2 days only, with a very red and itchy blister like rash! Thank goodness I didn’t put this on my face or neck! But my chest, backs of my hands lower arms looked and felt horrible! Took around 5-6 days to quit itching and feeling like my skin was on fire when the sun hit it (which is 7 days a week for me right now because I don’t get a day off til Oct working with swimming pools) even though I wore more physical sunscreen than usual and covered myself as much as poss with UV shirts with thumb holes. Oh man it was bad. After about a month and a half it finally subsided but I’m now so scared to try any brands Vit C and have stuck to the serums and moisturizers I already have and just put those on my skin that will be exposed while at work.
Hey Dr. Dray ! I went to Marshalls yesterday and saw TIME REVOLUTION The First Treatment Essence Rx box for $29.99. I believe you have recommended this in the past. Do you still love it ! 🥰
@@carolchadwick3580 that is technically cheaper then because on iherb you are getting only 5.07 oz for 28 (22 if you are use discount code). So that's a fantastic bargain! Hope I see it at my marshalls lol
Love your videos on shopping. Would love reviews/comments on Alba face wash:pineapple enzyme. Also, Laneige lip sleeping mask. I know both have fragrance but.
Your TJ Maxx and Marshall’s are way better than mine in Lafayette Indiana. I think they must know you are coming and they stock and organize beforehand.
I bought the simple facial wash for my daughter's. I also agree with the putting retinol on body cleansers mak s no sense too. I don't buy too much there. I used to buy Korean foam but not anymore.
I just went to Marshalls and bought that Acure conditioner with Aragon oil and pumpkin seed oil which is good for hair growth 📈 I wonder if it works🧐I have thinning hair now after catching covid
Hi Danyiel, The topical medication Clascoterone (which is used for acne), is showing promise in higher concentrations for androgen-dependant hair loss. Dr Dray said recently that rosemary oil may be another potential treatment for some hairloss conditions. Pumpkin seed oil has many health benefits, I put a tiny amount in my honey vinaigrette salad dressing. I also sprinkle some pumpkin seeds (pepitas) on my breakfast cereal every day. It it unfortunate that you had Covid 19, but hopefully (if your hair loss is attributed to this) it may only be temporary? In the mean time, take care of yourself in general anyway. I hope you are recovering well. 👱♀️❤
