A healthy D.Rose would smoke Westbrook, Irving, or Curry any day.. i really miss this guy. I really hope to see him play again. He gotta have some more seasons in him :(
lol if rose didnt get injured he would be a freaking beast right now, imagine his body is about to reach its peak and plus his experience he would be the best PG in the nba maybe even in nba history
You said abused him not averaged more ppoints than him. Paul is a PG prototype with elite defense for his height, a top-5 vision and a consistent jumpshot.
Son of Knowledge Even before his major injury he wasnt happy with himself, he wanted to be the best and thats what sucks the most. Rose grinded the fuck outta himself and carried the bulls to playoffs. Shits depressing af
The Bulls were exceptional that 2010-2011 season. They were 37-16 at that time. They went 25-4 the last 29 games to go 62-20 to finish with the best record in the league. That is one of the most impressive stretches you will ever see . I never like to say what if because with life it is what is, but it would’ve been nice to see what this team does if D Rose stayed healthy.
Even with all the talent around at the moment in the NBA and Players going off for 30-40-50 points all the time with ease and all these exciting teams I still loved the NBA most when D-Rose was doing this every night post Jordan, if he hadn't gone through all those injuries in the lockout season he would have been back 2 back MVPs and that 2012 Bulls team was really good I think they win the Championship and then you start to think how much better he could have been if he never got hurt, maybe he would be going for an 30ppg-10apg-5rpg season his 3 point shot would be wet and I think he would be the most unguardable player in the NBA.
It's not over. All these people saying he's done smh. He scored 25 last night against Dallas and looked explosive! And he is playing with double vision which makes it even more impressive. He'll be back. Don't worry.
A lot of other players who got hurt and had Superstar potential at a young age weren't established like Rose was we already know where D Rose was going! Worst injury in NBA history
Jesus it's almost like watching another player entirely. He was so fucking fast and explosive. He looked so comfortable out there. It's almost as if everyone else was moving in slow motion.
If i was his coach.. i would ask him to work on his post up game, footwork, jump shoot (he's much better now), and his 3 pts . Man you can not forced to do that kind of play every game every minute.. you know it would breaks your body sooner or later..look at him now.. Just if he was taught to be more variative in his offense, not just drive into the rim with his athleticism, explosion and speed. He would still a beast right now, and who's westbrook?
he didn't take many 3s and the Bulls' pace of play during his 3.5 healthy years was very slow (23rd in the NBA his MVP year) so he got a lot less shot attempts per game than other star players because The Bulls were such a defense oriented team.
This was when he was on god mode. Too unstoppable that year. 2015 Warriors vs 2011 Rose would've been dope, but unfortunately Rose doesn't has this 2011 Explosive Energy nor Speed and Athleticism.
+mrenzo2004 I agree he doesn't even use it most the time, these days he probably uses 70-80% of his athleticism and he has so much rust to get rid of it can look like he has lost something but he is just trying to find out what type of player he is now
No he doesn't, hes still quick but nowhere near as quick or explosive as he was before his acl injuries, including how before hed have monstrous dunks compared to now he rarley dunks
Seeing Roses' highlights and just seeing how he lands most of the time. It became pretty obvious why his knees gave up on him. If only he noticed this or was notified by trainers he could've minimized the damage done.
Damn those injuries deprived us to see of what could've been the greatest player of all time. Brian Scalabrine would easily smoke harden, curry, irving, westbrook or even Jordan and Lebron.
+Tren Clen If you watched the game vs Sixers where he got injured for the first time then you know he souldn't be playing because the game was already decided, the lead was more than 10 pts with only like a minute left on the clock. Every coach would sub in bench players now but Thibs kept the starting five on the floor which ruined Rose's career. It's really sad watching him nowadays. :/
+Tom Sas If you watched the game live as I did. We were up by about 10, but philly had momentum and were beginning to make baskets. I think Derrick wanted to grab that triple double.
Gideon Main but this happened cause rose played when he had already bad injuries.I remember watching a game he said he was taking painkillers and he said he felt like not taking a brake cause it was a mental challenge not physical.which most likely turned out not to be the true he was probably still pretty badly injured (ankle) and he probably put way more stress on his knees. I know personally when I sprain my ankle I would sometimes still play ball and I would feel some minor pain in other parts of my body like my knees or my other ankle that's cause one ankle is weaker then the other so other parts of my body had to compensate.
yer i know , he looks fast running in straight lines but being thinner he would have better agility and quickness. Lifting weights with his legs too much probably fucked it up. Hopefully he can recover, this guy was the most exiting player to watch.
