Good video . Harps unfinished ground is better standard than Finn park 😂. But seriously our league is getting stronger and stronger and we need to get our stadia sorted or we will regret it . Thanks for coming peaky 👍
It’s a problem in Irish league as well. The oval is a dump, solitude is falling apart. Half the shed side at coleraine is subsided. Can’t wait to experience the likes of Drogheda and tolka on my journeys 🙈
I'm from Belfast originally, but have lived in England most of my life. I have a brother that lives in Donegal, and we met up back in March to take in the Finn Harps game against Shamrock Rovers game. The main thing that struck me (apart from the persistent rain), was just how youth-orientated and community-based the club seemed to be. Whether football can challenge the GAA on an organic level in that part of the world is another matter, but it was interesting to observe. There is definitely an appetite for a senior professional football club in Donegal, so good luck to Finn Harps.
i am in so many clips im the young lad in the camo coat I realise how bored i look 😂 keep up the content man i did not realise u were right behind me lol
Interesting to see the Donegal's community stadium, seems the government just wont release the funds. Great vlog good crowd at the game keep up the great promotion of LOI and NIFL ⚽️🙂
The league has loads of potential. I think proper state of the grounds is a must before anything else. Unless your die hard and been going for years there's noting to entice a new comer back to a game ground wise. Drowning in urine in the porta loos grounds with no roofs seats etc. Plus they seriously need to merge the north league aswell. Playing the same team 3 times in a 10 team league is abit much to be fair then throw in Cup games. I mean ucd is in the league ffs .
I’m an advocate for an all island league but there would need to be about £300m pumped into it and all teams would have to be professional full time outfits. Stadia would need vast improvement as would roads. Not to mention the politics 🙈
Derry are certainly grinding out the results, it was a good win for them. Have only been once to Finn Park, Ballybofey, it's a terrible place to watch football. Facilities are poor, the pitch is terrible and going by your review, the health inspector needs to visit the chip van 😉😁 Finn Harps are a great club with great support, hopefully they can get the Stranorlar project back up and running. As for those drums 🥁 🤕 they'd give me a headache if I was standing beside them. Excellent vlog once again 👍
They gave me a headache. Head was pounding. Would be better if they all drummed together 😂 I really enjoyed Finn Harps and Ballybofey. Nice people. Derry fight to the end, great quality to have as a football team.
@@billydorney9647 totally agree. Seeing how football is supported and then seeing the contempt towards it by the council and government. It is not just a N.Ireland issue it seems.
@@Beanbag777 I actually set up a buy me coffee the other day. So that will help. I want the channel to finance itself but it’s no where near that at the minute. Need to be hitting at least 10k views a video for that.
Fair play for covering the match esp the failing stadium project. It's pronouced Stran No-Ler btw hahah. Will share this on the Harps fan group and you're very welcome to vlog in the home stand/behind the net to get the 2 perspectives of atmosphere in the NW derby. UTH
@@ThePeakys Yeah of course, 100%!! But it's all about financial support. As far as I'm aware, there was a grant stalled a few yrs back due to the whole conundrum with John Delaney & the FAI. Sport Ireland refused to release the money & haven't released it yet (fai in debt). That is needed for any such progress. It's a sad sight man 🥺 Alternatively, there's always an argument to do up Finn Park & forget about the new stadium. Can't see that happening though!
@@corey1053 I find that funny, when we (cliftonville) played bansiders at Windsor he wasn't happy about the songs🤣 we sing Celtic songs the point I'm making
@@corey1053 bangers were being thrown seems the wee lad throwing them had a gimpy arm it landed in amongst the crowd once or twice thats only time I seen fans arguing with each other. Kids will do that especially when see it on TV. Atmosphere was electric 6000 singing couldn't have been to many complaining about songs 🤣
@@corey1053 just a tip for future reference Celtic and cliftonville (to my recollection been going years) don't have any songs denouncing a religious sect yes they have songs of freedom from oppression and republicanism and republican leaders (cliftonville only have tag alongs that sing them at big games) but that's not sectarian though, but I get what you mean👌
Your right Finn Park is awful and not a great venue too enjoy a game but the Harps fans are great and really get behind the club. Hopefully they get the new stadium development back up and running.
Looking at the ground this needs new facilities and stands 2 bring it up 2 scratch for spectators it's a good job they are not waiting for money from northern Ireland executive as they would never see it and that's for sure it must be so disheartening 2 see a proposed football pitch not even built lying in limbo even with money that had been put into it from Irish goverment lisburn distillery supporter
