she isn't used to living with someone unreasonable. I guess to her hiding when you made a mistake is a bad decision and she thought that if she came clean and didn't try to hide it it would work out. She didn't expect her mother to be treated like that or to not have her apology and admission accepted. Red knows what it's like to live with someone unreasonable, she knows how to avoid it
I guess either Chloe never got the full story of her mother or she never really thought about what it would have been like for her mother. Either way Chloe has grown up in a house of love and is used to her side of the story being taken. Ella hasn't and isn't used to being listened to or considered. Red knows what that's like - right down to when she advised Ella to hide the broken vase pieces.
@@agenttheater5 I was surprised too. It was like chloe didn't know her mother story. Didn't know about her EVIL stepmother (which means not knowing about her step cousin dizzy) and everything her mother went through.
@@agenttheater5 that's possible. Although in 2nd movie dizzy tells the vk about how she treated by her own grandmother, the 3rd movie she seemed nice to dizzy and dizzy never left island until 3rd movie so it's possible chloe never met dizzy till 2nd chance was given to stepmother.

this is different from the 1950s Cinderella. Despite her stepfamily being so ungrateful and cruel she always had a smile because she had hope that one day she would be free, she stuck to her true self. She wasn't rude like this.

Sure it may not be completely realistic in the 1950s but we can, but hey, it's Disney, a fairytale. But we can 'try' to follow Cinderella's example of being kind, and having hope even when faced with the cruellest realities.
The step mother is definitely evil but in this situation is she really wrong. If I had people over without telling my mom and something got broken I would have been grounded. Also, the irony of the slippers, Ella is the one who gave them to her for being good.
That would have been interesting if it wasn't for a descendant's three which depicted lady tremaine as an asian lady so They kind of had to do the same thing with here again

I hope you know you're part of the reason that it takes a-se victims, on average, seven attempts to successfully leave their a-ser. It's so hard to leave because people blame the victim every time they respond, like any human would, to what is being done to them.
Omg I think I might’ve figured out why Ella helps the vks (theory) so basically, ella knows Bridget will never stop trying to be friends with uliana and it’s gonna get worse and so ella joins the prank as a lesson to Bridget on how not everyone can be redeemed/like you and so she hoped the prank would help Bridget gain a backbone but instead she becomes evil. That’s why Cinderella doesn’t really dare about the prank and doesn’t rlly show any sympathy to Bridget. It was to teach her a lesson

Besides Ella’s Friends are more important than you and they are not strangers! Chloe is right it was an accident! Grounding your stepdaughter is just child abuse!
I don’t what Ella’s father was thinking when he married her. They both were leading a happy life until those 3️⃣ man-eating demons came along. If you ask me, she’s better off without them.

Then prince tracks her down with a shoe to save her from this life. Plus Ella gets back at her when she banishes her step mother and step sisters to the island of the lost. So happy ending. Except ESM is cruel to her own granddaughter till the barrier comes down and she free again. I guess rules are different in this fairy tale world

I don't blame Ella for reacting this way beacouse even if Chloe confessed her mistake, stoodup to Ella and said sorry many times she knew Ella's relationship with the family and she didn't do anything about it when still having the chanse. She could have pulled an act, told the mother they are busy with something importaint or they are organiezing something importaint for the family. This way she would make the mistake but have her plan and confess the truth and shows she truly cares about they're friendship. Beautiful acting
Chloe should of expected as much of her EVIL step grandmother. Does she not know her mother story? I'm surprised. Plus getting her mother grounded might of change things like her mother going to the ball to dance with her dad. Thus Back To The Future erased herself from existence unless ella snuck out. I guess rules are done differently in the magic world Though her fairy godmother is a teen too right now which means I don't see her spelling ella yet unless there's more than one fairy godmother. I think young fairy godmother (fay) made her the dress for the school ball, maybe in descendants universe it's like a high school version of all the tales

@@allison3852 ESM is dizzy grandmother. Ella is dizzy step aunt. Dizzy is chloe step cousin. Sadly we never actually see dizzy mom either as a kid or adult.
Well, you can’t blame her. She does the housework day and night. And all her step family does is treat her like dirt. Now matter what she does, they always find ways to make her feel down.

Did she go off on her or did she hold the perspective of someone who hasn't been loved like Chloe has? She also wasn't wrong to call out how Chloe's clumsiness resulting in her punishment was bad either.
She wasn't wrong though. You have to remember this is teenage Ella, and teenagers be that way sometimes. How would you feel if some new kids at your school (one of which presents as super privileged) showed up to your abusive household and one of them gets you in trouble?
For people bashing Ella for being not like the 1950s version just so you know the original Cinderella 1950 movie her personality was supposed to be just like this but. The studio decided to make her perfect and have no human flaws. We are not perfect we make mistakes and it’s sad that for women characters you are either a Mary sue or a Terrible person.
My problem is that it seems like they're taking one of Ella's great traits and giving it to Bridget, instead of Bridget having her own kind of strength. Part of why I like Cinderella is her strength of character, in being kind when everyone is cruel, in being nice even when the world is unfair. Why are we taking away from Cinderella's story? I'm pretty sure that's part of why the prince fell for her, as well- she's kind regardless of the circumstances. That doesn't mean she can't have emotions or whatever (as some people insinuate), but it's weird to transfer traits. This is LET'S BE CLEAR, a flaw in the *writing* of the characters.
