Unfortunately lots of people think this is fake, so let me clarify a few things:
It might look like I've cut the video a couple times, but all I'm doing is pressing the 'look back' button to recenter the camera so I can see better where I'm going.
Also I did indeed respawn at the bouncing balls, but that was intentional just to recenter myself on the track, so it's still clean overall in my opinion.
The video has not been edited, you can verify that by checking the speedrun timer and video timestamp in the end.

I've been playing Descenders since it was released in February 2018 and I instantly fell in love with it!
So far I've clocked in over 1000 hours and the videos I created reflect the progress I made. I mainly focus on showing you my best gameplay but I will try to bring you better editing in the future. Stay tuned :)

run is clean, multiplier only dropped after the respawn at 1:50 ,which was intentional to reallign with the jumps ahead. as for the camera jitters, thats pressing x on the controller to reallign the camera to face forward. all in all excellent run! room for improvements are always there. mainly a cleaner pusher blocks is where most of the time can be saved. also that bump on the backwheel saved the run at 1:17. gg

It's much easier if you moonjump! You simply need to jump earlier on the ramp and you get a speed+height boost. Works on every ramp (even on flat), it's just depending on the rotation of your bike.

Yea well you could argue that it's a shortcut, because I didn't bother realigning myself, but I didn't actually cut any path (which you can do), so I disagree. Respawn or not, it actually was planned and incredibly hard to do either way, so I'm happy with it.

It ain't a fail if it's not accidently. The respawn was intentional to not bother you with realigning myself because you need to be perfectly centered on the track to do that obstacle first try every try.

I cant even get enough speed to get over the first 2 jumps. I dont get it. They put the roll in in front of the first jump, launches me into the air and I have no speed to make the jump through the ring. If I get lucky enough to make that I can only get about halfway over the second gap....what am I doing wrong?

Try to go a bit slower into the roll-in so you don't get launched and/or use pumping at the right time to stay on ground and increase speed on your way down. For the 2nd jump (and in general if you don't get far enough), jump a bit earlier, right about when your backwheel hits the ramp, that makes you go higher and faster. Also hold down the right stick a bit longer so you jump higher and you probably want to use the enduro bike for this.
