Descent: Freespace - Ancients - Part I (in HD) 

Still sends chills down my spine.

I love this cut-scene. It's so melancholy, forlorn and full of regret...

what a set up to the Shivans! I still trip on this cutscene dialogue.

Still brilliant.

Volition still exists and is alive, their last games were Red Faction whatsitsname and Saints Row the third.

But Volition is a dev team, and it still exists. Interplay also still exists, which is the publisher and holds the rights to the franchise. THQ bought Volition as Interplay had a bit of a hard time, which explains why they didn't work on a new Freespace.

Never played this game, but damn if the cutscenes arent godlike!

i hope the new space sims will re ignite the star fever and volition will recreate and make freespace 3!

Still missing the game.

@Dugrok I almost feel like games and the general audience has become to dumbed down to appreciate the God Like status of this game

I wish that were so, but games have become too casual for such a smart game to come out.

lol at the idea of HALO, wish games still had depth.
