"Desensitisation Rabbit Bonding" is based on the idea of bunnies getting used to being together' without being hurt, stressed or upset. Kim Cooney's theory is that in order to be bunny friends, bunnies need to feel safe with the other bunny first. This is why Kim recommends that bunnies are kept from interacting with each other in the early stages until they are "desensitised" to the presence of the other rabbit.

Bunny Bonding is fun and relaxing if you use our "Desensitisation Bonding" method which is non-violent and allows no aggression, no humping, no chasing, and nothing to annoy the other rabbit.

I am in the US. I have learned so much great information! I inherited a bunny from my granddaughter and really love him. I will be bringing him to a rabbit society for help with bonding so I can adopt a friend for him.

We are currently bonding 2 bunnies using the table bonding method so thanks for your videos. If I can make one suggestion, I’m your videos don’t put music in the video because the music almost drowns out your voice and makes it harder to hear what you’re saying. Yes music is nice but if it’s louder than your voice is then it would be better to not have the music. By the way my wife and I are in America as well

Hi. Can I ask some advice? I am in the process of bonding a neutered pair of Netherland dwarf rabbits (male and female, both about 18 months old). They are great on the table now, relaxed with no nipping and some grooming. But they are outdoor bunnies so I’m trying to now start bonding them outside. But as soon as I try to put them near each other in the outside pen the female gets very aggressive and bites the male. Even when I use a basket. Any tips? Thank you so much for the super helpful videos!

Hi, I have a 3 month old already spayed female(2 pounds) and a 2 year old neutered male(5 pounds). Should I wait until the small bunny is older to bond or should I just go ahead and try to slowly get them to warm up to each other? Does the table need to be in neutral environment? How about the basket, if I’m on my couch, my buck will definitely recognize his own smell… Thanks!

Thanks for this beautiful impression and information! I am howerer wondering, what to do if one of the bunnies isn't into cuddles at all...? It is a very active, young female who won't sit still and just enjoy strokes.... Also, if you mentioned taking them in the basket, keeping on stroking them and on to the couch later on... When do they have theri breaks? To eat, drink, drop around...? Maybe I missed on this information? Again, thanks!

It’s best to work on table handling each bunny separately so you can effectively position the bunny on the table and be able to reposition the one bunny and control each bunny in a gentle relaxed way prior to trying both bunnies on the bonding table. Kim Cooney www.rabbitsanctuary.com.au

Breaks back in the bunnies own enclosures of 20 minutes to calm down, eat, drink, poop etc. will help your bonding program.

I have a pair of female rabbits and à third female in another room. How would you bond them ? All of together in the table ? Just two ? Then which pair first ? The leading rabbir of the pair first with the newest ? Thank you for help !

I have bonded my mini lop doe Blueberry with another mini lop, and I wish I didn't bother bonding her with another rabbit. We had such a wonderful relationship with her, and that's why we thought she also needed to have a relationship with her own kind. She always looked so joyful. However, we saw a big change in her personality after the bond. She just became a follower, and it's very sad to see. I'm not going to separate them, but I just wanted to send a warning because all you hear about is its good for the bunny.
