Upgraded to bitumen standard, this former salt road between Swakopmund and Hentiesbay is nothing but a breeze to travel on. With less traffic during the off season it will take you approximately 40 minutes to drive on this road, situated in the Dorob National Park of the Skeleton coast. Basking in scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the settlement of Wlotzkasbaken is situated halfway between the two towns. Ideal for lazy days, this coastal road offers loads of pit stops making it an angler's paradise. Mile 17 to 32, Zeila's shipwreck, Jakkalsputz are all found on this 69 km stretch of road.
