@@RideswithChuck thx for sharing. I building a 1/48 modell and made the bomb bay doors movable. So i'm happy ro have information of inside. This big spars, where the wing bolts were atached are the most vulnerable section of the B17. This was the prime target for german fighters after they took out the gunners.

But it was never in the Civil War; The movie was set in 1869, four years after the War Of Southern Stupidity was DECISIVELY ended by the Progressive forces of the NORTH. So no, I never missed that part. And it flew after the War Of Southern Stupidity ended-
