Wow, for what was such a one sided game for the most part that ending was surprsingly close! Ozzy nearly threw his mothership by overextending. I haven't played much DoK, I much prefer the space combat of Homeworld 1 & 2. The use of terrain here is something that's rather cool though, allowing for clever pop up attacks on ridgelines if you're organised. Looks like we'll be seeing more of that in Homeworld 3 judging from the early footage we've seen so far which is very cool. Love your content, nice to see Homewolrd still kicking around in the online multiplayer scene after all these years! I confess I never played online in Homeworld, I merely did games vs AI and the campaign.
@Deamlands is there any chance we get to see you play some Nebulous: Fleet Command? I think it could really shine with your commentary! p.s. Enjoying the content as always
Always glad for more Deserts of Kharak videos. This match had an air of inevitability after that early bold attack was blunted, but I have to say it remained exciting throughout. Good fight from both players.
Awesome cast Dreamlands, would like to see more close-ups on the units and some esthetic perspectives. DoK has amazing design, definitely deserves to be utilized even during PvP casts.
It’s cool to see some vanilla 1v1s casted again. I’ve been playing mostly Jaraci/Jaramillo for tournament games, so a little more variety on the casting scene ain’t the worst thing. I’m planning on casting myself once life allows, but I’m going to specialize in non-tournament play at first, joke patch, and 1113/1115 play. This is a really rich community for how small it is, and I wanna join the caster chorus and help showcase what’s out there.
Your mic clips a little too quick. I need to learn to git gud again, I was a beast as a kid back in 99 on HW1. Waiting for HW3 and Falling Frontier, Kharak translate well into HW skill set wise?
This game is pretty much dead if this is the best 1v1 games it has to offer. Both players played mediocre and they just had one big battle at the end. Such a bad replay. Are we really scraping the bottom of the barrel for good games in DOK? Its a sad sight to see most RTS games fall out of favor with the gaming community...
