I have seen many plastic shredders, but I like your design the best, yours is the first one I have seen where one set of blades spin at a different speed than the other set. I also love your choice of music, Pacabel's Cannon is my favorite !!! This version sounds like Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Saya punya banyak jenis plastik botol dan daun tapi sayang tidak ada support dari pihak lingkungan atau pun daerah...saya gak punya cukup modal untuk membuat mesin pencacah plastik..... saya hanya mengumpulkan dengan cara membeli sama warga yang bersedia memilah sampah plastiknya saja..... sebetulnya ingin lebih membuat negri ini bebas dari sampah....
good job. But if I was your project supervisor I would question the following: Why a V-belt instead of a geared belt? Why a motor with no gearbox? What is the purpose of the double belts as it doesnt seem to increase torque? Why 4 cutting blades per disc?, etc.
1. V-Belt provided ability to slip when over load and it safer for motor 2. I used pulley and belt than a gear box for lower cost production 3. Double belt required based on design calculation for those torque. 4. I used 11 cutting blade to reach the production target

nice project!! it result more quantity of plastic granulate than the dave hakkens design (preciousplastic.com). beside dave hakkens design has single shaft shredder, yours has double shredder. how much the cost to build?

@@muhammadsigit973 One more question. I have a 1.5 KW motor / 3600 rpm. The axis is 20 mm diameter of the shredder. How do I calculate the radius of the pulleys and length of the belts to have that rpm. Any help would appreciatte it. Thanks in advance.
Nice design . But it is over designed for plastic shredding . I wonder how much the whole system weighs. But great work, lot of effort put by u guys . my team and myself built a plastic film shredder within 10k in 2018. It was completely new concept of shredding plastic and uses only 150 watts..
@@akashpatil7691 it was a whole new design ..it was shaped by our guide. He asked us to do it with mixer blades and do it at high speed . So I designed most of it accordingly. It was to shred plastic films and covers mainly. I lost all softcopy of the project. Will search and get back to you
Check this link out by same person who made this video. He has explained the shredder calculation. Understand and copy or follow his design principles. This is sufficient to do a project for college. I am guessing it for college. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--ElAZh-eCGc.html . In my design we went for high speed and thin blades sharp blades. Since our design had high speed I also took into account the dynamic deflection of shaft during full load, since the clearance between blade tip and shredder frame should be as low as possible.
