When was the last time you grabbed your blending brushes and used decorative masks with your card making? For me… it’s been awhile! But I’m so glad I decided to. I love simple stamping and creating with limited supplies, so sometimes I go long periods without using “extra” items. Then I do, and remember how easy card making can still be when using “extra” items and different techniques. So I want to share with all you crafters today my easy way to create with decorative masks while still keeping the supplies to a minimum!
The masks that we are creating with today come from the Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty Bundle. This bundle includes the stamp set, decorative masks, and coordinating dies. However in this video, we are only going to create one easy to make card using the stamp set and masks because I want to share with you an easy way to create with the decorative masks and build layers of color. And then I have five more “stepped up” cards to share with you using the coordinating dies and a few additional products. If you want to learn to make all of the cards, I have a written tutorial available for purchase with step-by-step instructions. Details on this 6 card tutorial can be found by following the link above.
I hope you enjoy this easy card making project and learn from my quick tips! Leave me a comment to share with me what card you loved most, and make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on any of my quick and easy card making ideas!
