You should measure the heat created. 1 watt for each 1 deg F raise per gallon.

Is the flow valve throttling associated with the throttle position?

No the flow valve is what controls the load placed on the engine. The throttle controls the airflow through the engine - more airflow, more power. So at open throttle your engine can output more power vs a half open throttle - but it only puts out power when the dyno pulls it out.

Somewhat un related question for you... any idea where I could find a pre drawn CAD file of the predator 212 engine that's accurately drawn both inside and out? It would be helpful when doing machining to those things... 😜

Unfortunately I don't. I occasionally check the usual places like GrabCad, but so far I haven't seen anything.

Hi! "Dynapack" is one of the best known hydraulic-style dynos and they handle upwards of 750hp per wheel on cars and trucks. As long as you can find a hydraulic pump that can handle the rpm and torque you plan to put through it, you can create a dyno from it. I didn't go too far into the math but if thats something your interested in, let me know. Next video of the fabrication is coming out soon!
