You do such a beautiful job taking care of your hair and it’s so healthy and thick. You did a great job despite the products not giving you good results
I used their spray “heat protectant” from this line for a blow out and I didn’t care for it either to be honest! I’ve seen videos of where mo knows hair used it and it looked promising. Great review thanks girlie. Oooooo I want to try the almond and avocado as well! Design is definitely an OG line, I used their relaxers back in the day.🖤
Heyyyy! I knowww- I so hoped it would become a straight hair favorite for me. My hairdressers in the past also used DE relaxers on me. It was (and maybe still is) the bomb. 😀 Thanks for watching!! ✨
Your hair is healthy and strong! I've never used the collection, but I want to try it. I think you will like Design Essentials produce for curly hair. Design Essentials is an excellent brand!!👍🏾
Hey girl, I just watched your video shout out to you for giving your feedback about design essentials. I noticed that you May have used a little too much remember a little bit goes a long way when using high quality. the handful of product you mention it was heavy because you need to use a nickel size amount of each product as you mention your hair is fine so I will say like it’s medium, fine always remember design essentials is high-quality high-quality Products high-quality results. All you need is a nickel size for the hair a little boo.😊
Hiiii! Thank YOU for giving me feedback- I really appreciate it. Yes, you are right and others told me the same thing. I revisited the products, used much less and got better results. I learned. ☺️
Happy Friday💕 Hey Friend 💛 I never tried or seen these Products. Never tried Design Essentials. Like that you gave it a couple tries but no go. Sounds good. Have a Great Weekend🙏🏼
Please do! Just so you know, I revisited the products and have had much better experiences. Some viewers shared feedback with me that I used too much product. Check my channel and you’ll see the updated Design Essentials video. 🌻
Beautiful hair I haven't used the line just yet however with my experience as a Cosmetologist and silk press being my favorite style you used entirely too much serum for a silk press you need no more than a dime size amount maybe a drop more for the density of your hair... ❤
Hi!! Thank you so much and I sincerely appreciate your feedback. More than a handful of others told me the exact same thing and I listened. I recently revisited these products and had a great style. I tried so hard to use much, much less product. Thank you again! 😊 Your words will ring in my ears when I style w/ Design Essentials again. 👏🏾
Hi! Oh wow, for real? Maybe we both just have to find our groove with this line. I’ve used it since and I used a lot let product and got more satisfactory results. Actually I did an updated video called Revisiting Design Essentials. If you watch it you’ll see I was much happier. Will you try it again?
Hi there, thank you for watching! I’m going to try the system again. Someone told me I was using too much product that’s why my hair was weighed down. We’ll see. ☺️
To bad these products didn’t work for you. However your hair still turned out great when you finish. To bad it didn’t last though. I was interested in trying this line but going to have to think about it now lol. Thanks for sharing
I was sooooo hoping it would become a favorite. Good to see you, lady!!! I caught your recent couples’ video. (That might not be the exact title- too hilarious. Y’all know each other very well, though !)
Same for me😊. I’ve use the several times since I made this video and I used less product (based on viewer feedback). It worked better but still not amazing.
Have you tried altering the instructions to use the serum pre-blow dry? I ordered these products from Ulta the other day, and haven't used it yet. I'm still working through my aquage serum and kersastase leave in cream which I layer on my hair before blow drying. I have super fine hair and only use 350 degrees but my hair gets silky straight every time. Using a serum on already dry hair just doesn't make sense to me even if it's what the label says. That will surely get the hair weighed down unless you used a tiny amount (which you didn't as you know).
Hi! I did think about using the serum pre-blow dry! I’m so glad you suggest it. I followed the brand’s directions b/c they should know, right? ☺️ I’ll definitely switch things up next time. I’ve tried using 375° on my hair and it just doesn’t get straight enough. 😩I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Do you flat iron in very, very small sections?
Hi there! You might be right. I believe I was ripe for a trim during this video. Trims can make a world of difference. I’ve been wearing my hair straight lately and I frizzy ends currently. Coincidentally it’s also trim time. I appreciate you!
Don't use the spray& serum 2gether,only use one, your hair will silk press with fluffy, silky, light weight hair! The step 3& 4 r 2 much 4 fine hair, use only one!
Hi Vicky- thank you so much. I plan to use the products again to flat iron my hair in a week or so. I will definitely take your advice. Much appreciated!
Hi Ben - thank you. I've heard that feedback from someone else as well. I feel like you were scolding me, but from a place of concern hopefully. :) I plan to definitely use the products again and change up the amount I'm using. My stylist used DE on my hair for years and I loved it. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
@@NaturallyCorporate the (thermal protectant cream) just use a pea size amount I know it seem like it’s not enough but it is I have long thick hair it’s down to my butt but once I followed them steps I was scared of heat damage but never gotten heat damage and I always get salon results using that line
