Out of all the RU-vidrs teaching Etsy POD, you are my favorite. The useful info and tips, and your suggestions and processes are straight forward and helpful. And I like the way you do things and how you teach more than most of the other "Etsy coaches." Keep teaching girl!

Yay!! I love this!! Thank you for being generous and showing us how to do designs because this is the hardest for me when it comes to designing as I’m not sure what to design to sell. If I design what I want I don’t think it’ll sell so you showing us how to do it is so beneficial and now I can design faster.

Good Vid. One design tip, on the explore & conquer one.. flip the dobie head so he's facing into the main design. Him looking away draw your eyes away from the design. If he was facing the other way your eyes are drawn into the design. That's actually a rule in tattooing, if anything is ever at a 3/4 head shot, it always faces into the center of the body. Because even if you look at the template you started from the dogs head was looking into the center. Enjoying this series so far.. on to the next one... Cheers.. wish I would have found out about POD years ago... So I wasn't wasting decades designing for someone else for shit wages...lol

This is basically my process! Something I do to save time is adding the color palettes to my brand on canva. That way I can save them for other subniches.

Your tutorials are SO good! Like many designers/artists, I’m a visual thinker and watching you work is extremely helpful! Including the thinking out loud. I just started using Canva, but I’ve used Photoshop for years. You are exactly right, you can learn it quickly. A lot is simply knowing where to find (layers, delete, etc.) what you want. I don’t do anything with them 😅 999 is the max quantity for Etsy and it doesn’t hurt anything so that’s why Printify does it. If your listing auto-renews it also ensures your listing always pops back in as active every time it sells (instead of being out of stock) 😊

As a design process yes - the full series is all of my steps (along with my course with in depth info) and the remainder of the series will be in the coming weeks. Stores that are not new and are still only getting 3 sales in 3 months either haven’t done research and/or have a problem with their designs, niche, or SEO (or all of the above). Research/data, understanding demand for your target customer/niche, and then leveraging that for the design and keywords is critical. This series is how I put all of those concepts together.
Great info! Ok, question. When I use my ruler the rectangle lines show, and I've always made sure I'm within those lines...but does it even matter? I've not heard anyone address this on kittl and maybe I heard it once about canva. If that is not a concern, would save me time not fidgeting with it....
They have a basic free option to try out, but for full use and higher resolution images with commercial use rights you’ll want at least a basic subscription 😊
Curious to know….is it really worth the effort to open multiple shops that are specific to the niches or products? Like I know you have a dog niche on this video and a dog shop on Etsy. So if you were to say, for example, have tumbler designs (dog or non-dog themed) would you open a separate shop that offers just the tumbler? Doesn’t it get complicated to run multiple Etsy shops because you need to log in and out all the time to deal with the different shops vs maybe having one Etsy shop and having everything separated within the shop under the shop categories. I hope this is making sense?! I have 2 shops at the moment. One is for my handmade embroidery and is mostly kids designs and then I also have my oldest shop that started as wood signs but now it’s really just 3D printed items that my son manufactures. I was considering just expanding this shop to be a catch all (not the embroidery though) but will that make it just appear sloppy? I don’t dislike the idea of different shops but my ocd tells me it will be a nightmare keeping track of 5, 6, 7+ shops that are all niched
How do you deal with copy cats? I came across my design, literally almost identical, they even used the same title I used, they even have it it priced lower, bc they using comfort colors shirt in pepper in place for a bella canvas shirts.
So i have been learning about canva and etsy few months now. This bathching method is new to me. So when i designed bunch of designs on canva and download it in my computer, it saves like a zip. I unzip it and now it is saved like jpg and its now allowing me to save it in canva. Help
When you use canvas to make batches does Canva save it under one file or different files because I’m wondering how do you upload to printing if all the batches under one file name
