In this episode, we will be sharing with you a design we created for our sub-compact tractor (an LS MT-125) to carry yard tool attached to the front lift cylinders! This has been super handy for helping with yard work around the property and if you can add more then one to carry a couple tools at once.

Next part... A drink holder. Dad used a flat strap and exhaust pipe to make one years ago. Printers make the concept much more interesting now.

Drink holders seem to be leading the comments!

I printed water bottle holders for my kids scooters that zip to the upright similar to this. They rotate all over the place, so a TPU collar for the part that gets zipped to the posts may be helpful too.

I hear you, the rotation is not bad as I have pulled the zip strips tight with pliers, however in future version I will likely add a slot for a compression pad...

you could have used the mirror function in your slicer, less files to keep track of. Did you use support on the outside only?

Correct and considered it, however inside this allows me sophistication in extending the model and analyzing the interactions mechanically (like the tipping)...

Not a bad idea. Might try it. I've been thinking about making ROPS flashing lights for my Kubota. They would cover the ROPS bar and be two pieces that screw together. Then also integrate a mount for LED work lights. I think PETG would be strong enough since I don't run through the brush too much.

Your in luck! I have already created this (with a 1/4-20 mount) I will have them posted on the designstore in a few days!

pear shape that slot so the handle sorta snaps into place and stays secure, using the elasticity of the printed plastic to open those jaws just enough to friction slide into bottom of hole where it rests and releases the pressure on the opening ;) This is a neat starting idea. I've been spinning around a multi tool holder at the gate of my garden but every time I come up with a design, I end up seeing how I'd be so much better off using sliced PVC pipe instead(cuz the damn C shape works too well for holding tool handles .... I'm no Engineer but I bet if squint hard enough I'll make it happen someday lol Ever since I got into 3D printing and designing my own parts(I made myself learn the basics of fusion360 b4 I ordered the printer, that was the deal), I started realizing how much stuff around me can be repurposed. Most of the time all it needed was a tiny bracket or a way to attach it to something useful, maybe even a guide or a pattern...and BAM 3D printer makes that happen. and they say there's nothing new under the sun.... i mean yeah that's sorta true in the sense that if I put my hands over my eyes I won't need sunglasses either

Great comments, the one issue about pear shape is the various handle sizes. I created this about a month and it has been in use for that long working far better then I would have guessed and agree with you on all the cool things you can do with 3D printing and Fusion 360!

@@DIY3DTECHcom bike rack style for diff sizes? I know I'm overthinking. One cheap easy option for diff sizes is incorporating some pool noodle into that opening design. It probably compresses enough to where you'd get about an inch of tolerance and it'll take the rattle out.
