Me and my son are going to start the academy. I have been machining for 10 years but want to jump into programming now. My son is a genius with computers and wants to get into the manufacturing trade.

Fusion 360 is better to learn than mastercam its better then mastercam in any way

Fusion is better in CAD but Mastercam is better on high end CAM... and is ITAR etc. Both are great.

agree with TITANS mastercam is really good in multiaxis

Use Lock after Diameter , so you not need allways insert circle diameter . Real handy when create same size circles etc...I love titan of cnc stuff , telling "secrets" to normal person and awesome videos

Awesome video. Just an idea but, do you reckon, on these style of tutorial videos do a split screen (or overlay video on video) so that we could see the operators hands on the keyboard and mouse controls as well as the screen grab? I just reckon it would help virtual learning the keyboard controls. Thanks for the awesome tutorial 👍

MasterCAM is for CAM... But many think you can’t do CAD... so we’re teaching it also.

@@TITANSofCNC Yeah, you can make models in Mastercam, but in my opinion typing coordinates of features to create shapes should stay in the early 2000s, where it belongs. Works well until you have to change something. Plus this part is symmetrical in two planes, it's much faster to draw half or quarter of it. I personally think, that if you are trying to teach CAD design, showing tricks like using the mirror function is a must.

I'm curious why You stopped using Fusion 360 and feature Mastercam instead? Are there features You miss in fusion?

Fusion is better at CAD Mastercam is better in CAM on the high end. Mastercam is ITAR approved.

Hey guys you should start using "viewsheets" can set up 1 click transfer to different WCS. Also can have any other WCS that you would like to be shown along with the current set. Its really great for keeping your ops in line because it automatically changes the view plane to the new WCS parameters and any other construction or tool planes...or not thats whats cool about it.
