In this tutorial inspired by Tekglide, we'll design a toggle button animation for light and dark mode using Figma. Starting with a new artboard, we'll create the default state of the toggle button, either as a switch or a button with "Light" and "Dark" labels. Duplicating this button, we'll modify it to represent the dark mode, adjusting colors and labels accordingly. Grouping elements for each toggle state, we'll then position them precisely on top of each other within separate frames-one for light mode and another for dark mode. By setting the initial visibility of the dark mode frame to hidden, we can then add interactions. Using Figma's Prototype tab, we'll create an interaction triggered by a click, with the destination being the dark mode frame, and utilizing the "Smart Animate" option for a seamless transition. After previewing and adjusting timing if necessary, we'll finalize the animation, making any last-minute tweaks before exporting it as a GIF or video for sharing or presentation purposes. Through these steps, we'll achieve a toggle button animation that smoothly transitions between light and dark modes, akin to those demonstrated in Tekglide tutorials
