Long drill- 300 to 15 meter contact drill. The drill was performed as part of the designated marksman training.
The designated marksman has less in the field of counter terrorism and comes more from the military field. The marksman and even in this drill is part of a unit and doesn't operate alone. having hat said, to be able to be effective and fast with your AR, is crucial for every situation. Your bullet will always be faster than you and to reach an active shooter, 100 meter away from you is faster with a bullet than to close the gap by foot.
