@back ho thank you. We work hard to provide insight that concerns itself with the mechanism of injury. Pain relief is just the beginning. Restoring function to prevent it from recurrence requires awareness and stability. We hope you are able to obtain even a small similar benefit from these videos. Thank you again.

I have been doing these exercises every day for a week now. I believe that they are helping my post tibial tendonitis situation a lot. More than anything I have been doing for the last 7 months. Even though I have done most of these exercises separately, putting them together is key. I also like how you have put this video together and how you explain each movement and the logic behind it. Thank you.

You're welcome! It's our pleasure, and we're happy to hear you are finding some relief. What caused your post tibial tendonitis? If at any point you'd like us to do a free movement evaluation, we'd be happy to take a look. Send me an email at anogle@fluidhealthandfitness.com if you're interested. Have a great Thursday. :)

I've not felt my gluteus medius this strongly in a very long time, though I do hip abduction movements all the time. Apparently, my biceps femoris was so tight that it was shutting it off. Definitely going to be stretching that out regularly from now on.

This is an excellent video. I’ve been struggling with tightness and crepitus in my tibialis area for a long time and it occurred to me that maybe the muscles connected to that area were causing this. I hope that these exercises will help. How often would you suggest we do them? Great content, and great teaching technique. Going through the process twice helped me solidify my understanding of the exercises. Many thanks!
@ryanmaxwell5374

@Art & Science you could complete this progression 2 to 3 times weekly. Usually, you only need 24 hours to recover, but it's a good idea to start with a few times weekly then build up from there. This is because there may be other imbalances that are impacting the movement quality of your knee. We always suggest completing a movement screen to see where the issues are originating from. If you're interested, we offer a complimentary screen via video conference. Just reach out to our member care coordinator at meetings.hubspot.com/salessupport12 to schedule a time to connect. Thank you for watching and supporting.

I have the world’s worst flat feet (genetic in my case) and struggle with pain in the tibfib area. Tore my biceps femoris last year, took about 6 months and lots of rehab for it to feel normal again, and suddenly it feels torn again! Can tears and re-tears of the BF be attributed to over pronation, and can these exercises be performed while there’s a potential tear?
@mrryannealmaxwell
@mrryannealmaxwell 2 года назад
Hi KEK86 - the bicep fem would eccentrically decelerate the excessive medial torsion of the tibia from the loss of foot abduction and inversion due to the flattening of the foot. This would subject the bicep to continual strain and possible trauma. Improving ankle mobility and foot strength, (transverse arch)would be suggested.

Should I do this daily?

Hi @Goblin King 420 - thank you for your question and for watching our video. In general, we recommend at least 3x per week to create adaptation. That said, everyone is different and to provide accurate exercise dosing specific to you, it would be most beneficial to assess your movement first. We can offer complimentary movement analysis, if you're interested in learning more about the way you move. Please reach out to anogle@fluidhealthandfitness.com to get scheduled.

Hi @Bryan McGowan - thank you for your comment and our apologies for not responding sooner. Here's a question, I understand that turning the foot slightly inward will increase the stretch for the long head of the biceps femoris, but is there a risk for the knee coming out of alignment? I have sensitive knees and they easily crack...Im just wondering If one can rish injury by turning in the toes, even slightly? thanks!
