She didn't copyright nor trademarked her design, second if the original design waS altered even slightly then it's not the original design anymore and therefore won't belong to that designer anymore.

I don't want to say she's lying, but she isn't the only person that thinks of those designs. That can easily be found anywhere with that style. I honestly think she's doing that because Lisa is a big artist.
I've made a heart shaped top that was made with leather when I was really young and it looks very similar to alot of heart shaped tops before and today. There are billions of people on this planet its more likely for many designs to look the same or similar to kne another. Also if that was my original design I would be ashamed to call myself a designer

star is one of the most old and classic symbols. i don't think it's outrageous to think multiple designers would come up with the idea of a star shaped top. it's not that original.
I was a teenager in the late 90's. The star top really isn't new. Lisa's nude bandeau under it is a fresh take on the top but it's definitely not a new concept.

Idk, I’ve seen 2 other people beside Lisa wear the same exact top. One on TikTok and the other one here on yt one of them was a rockstar dance cover and the other was a reaction video. I think It could be one of those situations where the designer thought she made something new but in reality it’s been on the market for years. I’m saying this because star shaped tops already existed before Lisa wore them.

The original design isn't original to begin with. Star top designs has been a things for years especially during the 2000s. And the only thing similar is the star, everything else is different. However, if she feels the design is original and they copied it then lisa team should deal with it. At this point when styling idols, stylist need to cross check every design to see if someone has done it before and give them credit. But tbh the design has been done before and hoped the designer has the same energy for shein, PLT and other fast fashion brands cause they sell them 😂

the top doesnt look similar whatsoever theyre both stars, but lisa's top lacks the choker, black part underneath, the chains (?), and the designer's top lacks the beige strip running under the length of the star. saying one is copying the other is like saying a brand copied another for making a butterfly top. at most lisa's top was inspired by the other one
Yeah I was about to comment that. Lisa has some sort of straps while the other one has a big black stripe. Plus Lisa’s star seems to cover the torso more than the one the designer made so.. this is just a bad coincidence.
The chains and wide choker is unique, not the shape (tops like that have been seen since the 2YK) and Lisa’s top doesn’t even have those attributes. The song is called RockSTAR so it’s not a surprise they chose to make a top shaped like a star. Most likely they haven’t even seen this designer’s work before but at least the designer got some free publishing, so good for her 😄

It’s absolutely possible that two people can think of the same idea. It happens all the time in art and design. If it was a 6 pointed star or 7 pointed star I might lean more towards copying her design, but it’s a five pointed star. The artist her self says it’s possible that the stylist came up with it on her own.

Yeah, Lisa was surfing through weibo, found the dress and decided to make one for self 😂😂. Lol, if I was designer , I would have thanked her for using my design. Jennie once wore a cap that was from a small designer shop, they saw the opportunity, thanked Jennie for wearing it, and then gave 10% offer , they literally sold out within hours and then restocked it days later and again sold out.
She did not invent the star top it started off as a crochet trend to make tops as shapes to put for festivals or on top of swim suits and it’s been going on for years

If this was a copy, which it isn't. Then this copy doesn't deserve attention or compensation in anyway. That shirt has been made many times before this chinese designer was even born. And people saying she might be a victim?? A victim of what? Is lisa not the victim in this? Literally she was showcasing the star with not just the shirt but also with a star shaped teeth ring. I've seen very similar tops from big brands like Boohoo and ASOS. Does that means they also stole her designs? I would understand if it was something more unique but a star? That's one of the most commonly used shapes. This isn't plagiarism in my opinion.
