Many bios incorporated the lore added from the Mattel "Classics" line. I wonder if there was interest in expanding the license to include those additions. Especially adding minion options based on established species such as the Avians of Stratos and the Andreenids of Buzz Off? Their "War of the Skies" is definitely something that I would love to recreate on the battlefield!
Would like to know why Jitsu was excluded from the campaign given how much he was requested. Jitsu and subsequently Nightstalker was a hopeful antagonist for Fisto.
@@thegreenyamo1995 pretty sure he was one of the contested characters that the video refers to. Both Jitsu and SyClone were missing from both the US and European versions of the game. Interesting to find out the reasoning from Mattel.
Oh also, what's the design process like for the developers? Any examples of how skills changed from their first iteration to their (current) final one, or skills that barely changed if at all? Is there a template for what types of skills characters get (like, at least one ranged attack, at least one support, etc...)? How is health determined... that sort of thing.
I cannot think of very many extremely important characters who were not included. Jistu is probably the best example. There are certainly other characters I wish could have been included, but Jitsu might be the biggest one who wasn't?
Since the Kickstarter is now over they should be able to be more specific about why the highly requested characters weren’t included. He kept saying in this he could t spoil it but now it’s over. So why didn’t you include them?
Please, ask them why some Characters didn't make it into the Campaign! Because so much People ask for Jitsu, Sy-Klone, Dragstor, Rio Blast and Multi-Bot. Ask them please, to make this Characters available in the Pledgemenager when it's open as an extra Addon, maybe for another 50$!? This would be sooooo awesome! I think they have the POWER to make these Characters! I think 99% of all real all in Backers will buy this Addon! #Justice for Jitsu, Sy-Klone, Dragstor, Rio Blast and Multi-Bot.
I understand about some She Ra characters having some rights issues but it’s still confusing to me that Jitsu, Jitsu and Nightstalker, Screeech, Sy-Klone, Rio-Blast and Multibot didn’t make the cut. They are definitely owned by Mattel so that’s why most people are so confused about those specific and much loved characters not making it into the game. I guess my big question would be, this. Is there any chance we will be able to get any missing main line characters in the future? Are there any plans to expand the game further after it’s released? Snake Mountain or Fright Zone expansion for example?
I see what you’re saying, but remember Fisto had this issue during the time of the Star Wars Prequels because of the character Kit Fisto and Mattel didn’t keep up with the license. I know it sounds insane but he was in a type of limbo for years. Toy copyrights are insane.
