Gucci Guilty Absolute is my all-time favorite fragrance! I have half of a 50ml bottle left and then a mammoth 150ml backup bottle since it has been discontinued. Such a daring scent that my wife luckily loves on me.
I am happy to see Farenheit in this list. I first encountered it as a teenager in the late 80's. I remember the sales clerk saying it's a male fragrance. It felt so unisex then. A great memory
What a great list. It's a bit sad that there's none L'art & La Matiere from Guerlain can get in here. My top 5 designer (that I own): 1. Dior homme intense 2. Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomad 3. Issey Miyake Noir Ambre 4. Prada L'homme Intense 5. Dior Balade Sauvage
Great list as always! My top 5ish designers would be 1. TF Tobacco Oud - so good and never talked about 2. 2012 Dior Homme 3. Dior Homme Parfum 4. CdG Wonderoud 5. Chanel BdC Parfum 6. Hermes Voyage Parfum 7. TF Plum Japonais
I have spoken about Tobacco Oud, two different times in different videos on this channel. Also reviewed on my previous channel. I agree it's really great I love it. I have a 1000Liters of it stashed away plus 100mL bottle halfway used up. I am uncertain about it's status as it is discontinued but there is a rumor it's coming back. I left off Fragrances off this list that were discontinued. Only currently selling is featured here otherwise it would be highly ranked. We shall see if it comes back. But here are the videos featuring Tobacco Oud: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MzwcXuq0FuI.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VFpc7ukbSCc.html
I don’t have a list per say but for sure, one of my TOP fragrance that I consider a masterpiece is Guerlain Gourmand Coquin. I’m so devastated it’s discontinued and nowhere near finding a decent replacement.
In my opinion, I own all tom ford’s leather fragrances and I prefer the original Tuscan Leather over ombre leather and TL intense, I also prefer tonka imperial over 2018 feve delicious, Noir de noir used to be more sweet warm dark chocolate oud rose earthy smell but the new releases of ndn are so light and all about rose and oakmoss, i miss the old noir de noir btw☹️. Great video bro I appreciate how you always creat a new content ideas.
Great list Sebastian! Here are my 5 favorites currently. 1. Issey Miyake Noir Ambre 2. Cartier Declaration D'Un Soir 3. Valentino uomo noir absolu 4. Farenheit Parfum 5. Dior Homme Intense
What an awesome list, Sir... Always loved & enjoyed your content. Here is my current top 5 designer: 1. Dior Homme Parfum 2. Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum 3. Prada L'homme Intense 4. Gucci Guilty Absolute 5. Tom Ford Tobacco Oud
There's a reason why I hesitate to watch your top designer/niche fragrance list. You're going to break my bank even more so with this expensive hobby! Hahahaha. As always, great video!
Bois Mysterieux was kinda weird for me. I found it so wrongly named because on my skin, all I got was leather. I kept wondering why it was name Mysterious Woods when I barely picked up any woods at all. By the time it wore off, I missed the smell but throughout the wearing, I was a bit torn. I haven't experienced even a fraction of what you have but my personal top 5 from my own collection would be... 5.D&G The One EDP 4.JPG Ultra Male 3.Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille 2.Armani Code Absolu 1.Givenchy Gentleman EDP Boisee.
My top 5 are D&G The One Luminous Night, Cartier Pasha Parfum, Versace Man Eau Fraiche, Bentley for Men Intense and Givenchy Gentleman edp. I had to add Drakkar Noir. To me it’s a timeless classic that I have used for over 20+ years. I still think it’s a masterpiece.
well i am pretty exited and i thought that maybe you can appreciate it i layer gucci guilty absolute pour homme first + dior fahrenheit edt second = the original 1988 dior fahrenheit did on purpuse dotn't know if anyone else have and still need more experimenting nevertheless thought that you of would interested
I don't know many. I haven't experienced many. 😕 My favorite ones that I was fortunate to experience are... Creed Vetiver, Prada Black, Sauvage EDP 2018, John Varvatos Artisian & Pure.
I love top20s and I love the background, for me Tobacco Vanille is the best, niche or designer. 1. Tobacco Vanille 2. Tuscan Leather 3. Bad Boy Le Parfum 4. 1 Million 5. DHP
I'll mention just five fragrances, but I could mention more than that: Calvin Klein "Euphoria Amber Gold for Men EDP", Mauboussin "Une Histoire d'Homme Irresistible", "Bentley for Men Intense", "Narciso Rodriguez for Him EDT", and "Acqua di Gio Profumo".
Not having been into this very long at all, I am happy to see that I've got a fairly decent selection out of this selection already. I still want to find the Dior Homme Parfum (lots of Dior Homme in our shop here but not the parfum), and the Equipage Geranium highly attracts me. Mad for Encre Noire, and though I prefer the Sport, I suspect that I must eventually get the Extreme, despite my getting nothing from it at first and second sniff. Heritage is my Sunday scent.
I'm wearing fahrenheit le parfum right now 😁Smells so fn addictive i absolutely love it I do get the classic gasoline violet note here & it lasts way longer than the edt
Amazingly similarities with my own list of favorites! Maybe not in that perticular order, but anyway all the classics mentioned certainly included in! Could you pls. give your honest opinion concerning the state of today's fragrance industry; is it actually worth to compare older fragrances to modern versions of these so-called "classic houses" anymore, just because of these straighten regulations involved to these modern fragrances. Because of that, there is no way today to even try to create legendary fragrances with these ingredients allowed to be used in?
Classy list perhaps more suitable for middle age. Can't disagree with lê lion though👌 Would've included platinum egoiste in there, bdc parfum and Terre d Hermes edt.
This is an excellent list. I agree with so many of your choices. I would say though I do prefer the original Pacha. Did you ever smell the Menthe version of it from the 90s?
Wonderful list! Interesting to see Pasha Parfum, yet not Dior Elixir, which I find somewhat similar in their full drydowns. Also interesting to see Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum above the Pasha, and Bentley Intense above those, even above Fahrenheit Le Parfum. Btw I find similarities between the Bentley's drydown and Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan. I think Encre Noire the OG EDT is a masterpiece in a way precisely because of its minimalism. It is also one fragrance where the bottle itself is a masterful showcase of coherence with the fragrance name, design, and concept. All of it a showcase of masterful simplicity, coherence, and minimalism.
Luckily for me, Santa is bringing Costume National Homme parfum over the holidays. Confirmed. 😄 Also, he's a woman. And in great shape. No reindeer though. But he/she is definitely bringing the rain this year. Whatever that means. 🤣 Dear. Going to have to revisit Equipage Geranium!
Encre Noire Extreme, Tobacco Vanille, & Le Lion are three I have and enjoy. I want Eau Savage Parfum though. Unisex fragrances are such no-brainer easy wears IMO.
I need to get me Encre Noir and smell that Bentley one many are recommending. My favorites include Guerlain Chamade & Derby, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Aqua, Dior Home Parfum & Sauvage eau de Parfum. Armani Aqua Di Gio.
1. Drakkar Noir 2. Boucheron Pour Homme EDP 3. Chanel Antheus 4. Aramis 900 5. Cartier Declaration 6. Comme Des Garson incense series 7. Maison Martin Margiela Untitled l’eau 8. Bentley for men intense 9. Hermes Terre de Hermes 10. Gucci Envy
I add extra five to this already fine and accurate list, as requested: Guerlain Vetiver, Guerlain Acqua Allegoria Mandarin Basilic, Cartier Declaration d'un soir (the rose version of Declaration), Molinard Figue (if Guerlain is here, why not Molinard then?) and, above all, a masterpiece I believe, but understimated, Tom Ford Champaca Absolute.
Liked the video before even watching. You are a true inspiration when it comes to fragrances. Great job as usual. FYI, I am a lady wearing males fragrances, so not offended by the Men/unisex targeted audience. Have discovered Ombré nomade from LV and this is my signature scent now. Watched your review before pulling the trigger.
I just sniffed Voyage yesterday, coincidentally, for the first time, though I don't know whether it was the parfum or not. Perhaps I'm coming down with a cold, but I got...NOTHING. There was nothing there. But, seriously, perhaps my sniffer wasn't working quite right. I must try again.
Great list for designer perfumes, my top 3 from your list is no.5,3,1 These are the best designer and i am buying them again and again to avoid any suden changing in the ingrediants. Feve delecious is unbelivable very crazy perfume to die for.
I figured DHP would be number one... 😁 Quite deservingly, too! Kinda surprised at how high Le Lion got! And my eternal nemesis... Ahh!... Bois Mysterieux... How I want to love you, but your coumin kills me... 😫 Great list! Thank you! 👍😁👍
@@Mojo8 Personally I think yes, I have the vintage formulation in the brown/red bottle, the black square bottle and the current transparent square bottle. There are some differences between the vintage and current formulation, but the current formulation has still great longevity and smells +80% the same as the vintage.
Would you kindly let me know where you bought Eau Sauvage eau de parfum? I can’t find it here in the US. Do I need to order it from Selfridges or Harrods? Thank you.
ombre leather gucci guilty ab encre noire coromandel DHP farenheit parfum hermes terre AGREED.. there was more but cant remember.. i dont like farenheit original at all, too spicy for me but parfum is amazing,!!! ombre leather is stunning! you cant beat DHP thats my number 1
