ok it's not an exact replica of common 15th century armour but this one is quite well shaped(excluding of course the lack of rerebrace)!what you find off?

+TeutonicEmperor1198 The problem is it's not particularly functional armour. What do I find off? The entire Cuirass, the tiny Spaulders, the fitting between the pauldrons and the Spaulders, the smaller more shapely plate covering the backhand, the tiny faulds, the lack of a rerebrace or cop, the flimsy and tiny neck protection. If it was steel it would protect you for sure...but no better than any other random design. I can see she's tried to make the armour something she can move in...which does make it better than basically all typical fantasy designs it's just not as good as actual armour. I've seen Ian's video, When I read your comment I realized that she is who the video was about.

the problem I see about the cuirass is the slightly "boobplate" design, it's not very prominent but it's there!About the shoulder piece(it looks more like a pauldron than spaulder) it's not particularely small!She could have made the left one a bit bigger to create the Italian armour asymmetry but whatever!About the faulds sure she could have made them bigger too but there are many suits of armour with that small fauld like the majority of Gothic armour suits!I also agree with you about the neck protection! A big sturdy bevor would have been awesome but not very feminine! Remember this is a feminine "pseudoGothic" armour not the equivelent of Gendarme knights! You could also argue about the lack of lance rest but she doesn't look like a member of the heavy cavalry! ;)

Don't know anything about Ironheart but that doesn't really look convincingly like armour, looks a bit like fantasy or poor reproductions of several different styles of early Renaissance armour. I do like the gauntlets you (or at least the designer.) are wearing despite seeing issues...the Spaulders, Cuirass and Faulds not a fan of. They don't look shaped at all to deflect, I dislike the lack of covering of elbow and neck as well. obviously this is fantasy and I'm only taking it as seriously as she claims she is....it's designed to 'protect' but her 'design' offers no greater protection than a flat sheet really. It's only 'armour' in that it's designed to look like steel not because it's shaped as armour. Edit: I'm not suggesting the costume isn't well designed, the fact that it sits on her body nicely and she can move in it is a massive plus. My only issue is it's not armour. Just another comment, armour in film *isn't* believable, it *isn't* convincing...your piece there looks better than most film armour.
