wow! couldn't have imagined this was DIY!! This is called talent. Fashion is not about just wearing readymade clothes and skin showing ( the way most so-called fashion bloggers in India have started doing. I stopped seeing any content regarding Indian wear on social media because of that. Because for me, it was all nonsense, just looks good on skinny girls and on camera, not practical at all!!) But then you entered, you are gorgeous, humourous, natural and full of talent AND some real fashion sense! Nowadays most people link buying new and expensive clothing to status. Wearing your clothes in different ways again and again OR DIYing is seen as out of status! Most people don't realize that in turn, they are just creating unnecessary clutter in their homes. It's good to invest in good clothing rather than spending money again and again, and it doesn't matter if it's branded or not Or if it's expensive or not! whatever some people just can't get it. Glad to see a fresh face in social media, who is influencing people back into realizing what fashion is all about! All the best dear! Also, your DIY reminded me of how my mom got an Anarkali stitched for me from her silk saree and then hand sewed embroideries over it. And I must tell you, it was a special piece which can never be replaced by any designer! Would love to see your mom back on the channel! Namaste!

Seriously moms are real magic in their daughter's life. I have cut sarees from my mom literally to make a dress diy kind of stuff. Coming to your saree I completely vote aunty this time. Its an amazing fabric and I liked her idea of stitching and for drapping saree also she stitched near vast part.

Your mom reminds me so much of my mom, who used to make all my dresses including kurtas till I move out to college to a different City . The statement that she said "beti ka pyar" made her do it.. I just can't stop crying! How much effort she had put for years and also listened to my tantrums of wearing them in particular style. Guess moms are like that!
