Story Musgrave's claim of having never finished school afer this seemingly hardscrabble background is a little disingenuous. Story and a brother were both students at an elite private school, St. Mark's, in Southborough, Mass. Shortly before Story was to have graduated, he got in some disciplinary problem, didn't get his diploma, got one many years later after he'd become famous. Now the school lists Story Musgrave among its distinguished alumni.
Donald Kirk+ The same think happened to Verdi at music school. He was thrown out, and now there is a plaque outside saying "Verdi studied here!". Cheers - Mike.
Well he got a ged before he went to SU, and he had to drop out of High school because of a car accident, and maybe because the farm he worked at went bankrupt
@@jakobfeitzinger9587 Mystique. He went through St. Mark's but just didn't get diploma until years later. Would not have gotten GED before SM. Never heard about any car accident or working on a farm that went bankrupt At SM, he wrestled, played football.
"You come in with a certain genetic set. What experiences do you want?" Well, my "genetic set" allows me to be smart enough to know what my genetic set will never allow me to accomplish, which is not exactly the experience I wanted. Story's genetic set is unusual; he is just along for the ride.
Look at some of the expressions of the students faces at 18:00-19:00. They are disgusted/shocked that this MALE is so confident and powerful in what he's saying. Wellesley = Liberal single mindedness.
