After you are familiar with how to design a simple kitchen in Sketchup, you may be interested in exploring some extensions that will make your workflow easier and faster. There are paid extensions that generate cabinet doors for you, help draw molding, offer tools for complex shape creation, and generate photo realistic renderings. Though I am not promoting this product, the Sketchup Extension warehouse is a great place to discover and try them out!
