Yeah, I’m actually a bit surprised that we got naafiri instead of her. Nothing against the little dog! I think she would make a great support, in her Lore she was a healer if I’m correct? Giving teammates lifesteal or omnivamp against champions, corrupting them to make them stronger. Also, her weapons are blood letters - this would be pretty cool 😃
Personally, i always imagined Xolaani being an enchanter support that by hurting enemies can heal allies. You know, blood magic stuff. She hurts enemies, and takes their blood to heal her teammates!

Hey there, the Darkin Support is definitely on my list, personally I also saw Xolaani as a support because if I’m not mistaken she used to be a healer. But obviously the power fantasy is hard to be accomplished in this role. Either way, I would generally love to design another Darkin. Maybe I will just do a video with possible Xolaani abilities, and one for a completely new Darkin. And about question - I’m terrible in being consistent with the uploads so this currently is the hottest streak I’m having😂 but Im getting better overall the next video is in the pipes already
Really great video, I love seeing detailed fan champs concepts, and your channel hits the point in it (as well as redesigns that you did). Also, I'd love to see your take on skins for your own champions and maybe redesigns. Like you mentioned in Jarvan's video, his old design could be used as a skin to show the past of champion. I'd love to see even some small, quick sketches of skins you think that champion could fit in or how new design could influence the old skin. Keep up the great work!

Champion: Nair Role: Assassin Region: Demacia Affiliations: Cousin to Vayne, past friend of Sylas in youth when Sylas was still part of the Mageseeker order. Biography: Nair devotes his life to hunting down and imprisoning mages, and eventually, gain revenge against Sylas for overthrowing Demacia. To live out this purpose, Nair follows Captain Tugnor and his small party of mageseekers, and he often urges his cousin Vayne to stop her stupid pursuit of killing monsters alone and put her combat prowess to a more appropriate cause, by joining the mageseeker order. Design: Mage seeker mask, cloak over mageseeker uniform, two demacian daggers. (forearm-length each.) Colours: blue, white, silver and gold. Stats: Hp: 620 (+89) Mana: 0 Atk Dmg: 63 (+3) Atk Spd: 0.658 (+2%) Armor: 29 (+4.5) Magic Resist: 35 (+2.05) Mov Spd: 335 Attack Range: 125 units [Abilities] Passive- Hunt the Magic Whenever Nair or a nearby enemy casts an ability, Nair gains 1 stack of 'Hunt the Magic'. Damn that sounds like a cool guy. Also, the connection with Vayne! Love that you fleshed him out so much! 😃👏🏼 there is a design out there about a demacian assassin he has a wip but it looks like he could be a bit something what you thought about. Either way super interesting concept - a lot of utility, I think he and Tugnor could take over every game.🤝
I like how his ultimate acts like fingers, one finger for each enemy marked, when he marked all 5 enemies his ultimate looks like an arm reaching out. And thus, his name shall be, THE FINGERER. He makes his enemies weak, before fingering them with his ult, which does missing health damage!

How about a voidling paracite support Champion who attaches to ally structures damaging them over time by corrupting them but empowering them. Spreading his corruption to minions that pass by. Woth maybe like a noctornish ult but single target that damages them over time while he is attached to them. But can be broken beforehand by enemy cc or something like that lol
I have an idea ive been cooking up for a while of a new type of Void creature tank or even a funky Cho’gath rework where for the first champ in league history they would have a unique version of recall where they would have to place recall points like Reksai’s tunnels but their recall would be on a CD between uses which would give them map presence but wouldn’t allow them to head back to spawn as easily since i was thinking they wouldnt be able to place them in the base areas on either side of the map
Wooow that’s such a cool idea- would the tunnels be able to be destroyed or would they be stationary? Just as a toplaner I suppose it could not get them installed so easy. But on the other hand if spawning at the same place they could be warded out easier. Do you know Abathur from hero’s of the storm? Imagine you could click on your passive while walking to lane for example and you can spawn a void mite at a tunnel who walks somewhere you send it, to build a new tunnel. I think I will make it something like this damn I love the idea 😃
I dont understand but a void champ with ZZZ ROT would be cool like an ANT army with starcraft gameplay like an evolve malzahar, but would be broken with the new pre-herald worms

@@Arthis_ i was thinking you would be able to press B on an empty bush you are inside of and place one in it and if you pressed B when you were not in one with your cursor on a tunnel you would go to it after like a channel maybe but yeah they could get wacked like a pink ward. and tbh a lot of the inspiration was from dehaka where he can burrow into bushes but it summoning a voidling would be dope. honestly the only issue with the idea i can see right now is the champ will 100000% be pro jailed. But me being a monster champ enjoyer i would love to see you take a spin on your own monster champ design.

I know you are propably done with Mageseekers, but if you ever made another one. A young, actually well meaning person being a mageseeker sounds like an interesting concept. Like someone who actually beliefs in the cause, since he grew up in it. Which I think should be the default for Demacians, especially after the whole Sylas thing. Because so far, the mageseekers seem evil for the sake of being evil, even though they had the support of the entire Demacian empire.
Yes of course you are right - and being confronted with magic is absolutely scary- it’s basically a gun debate, and if you can let super humans run around without having something that can stop them. That it came to mageseekers is very natural I think and that many of them just want to keep the peace. So having a champion like you’ve said would open a good debate to have otherwise things just are black and white. Have you seen Wysteria from the Mageseeker game? She was a mageseeker around the age of sylas who had problems using her fire abilities (they burned her as well) and then the Mageseeker helped her out to channel and control her abilities and eventually help the mageseekers. And it turned out she also got experimented on further and got some really strong powers added to her own because the mageseekers had a piece of a legendary being that they merged with her. It’s crazy - and what she wants is actually just wants to keep order. The Mageseeker game definitely has some nice mageseekers in this regard - also a mageseeker who’s partner is a mage and he wants to keep him safe and as they throw him into prison he goes to sylas and helps him free his partner and more mages.
Personally I dig more "serious" champions, like it was in the old league of legends! Nowadays they are too "animated and colorful"... Great job man, continue with this wonderful work! From the bottom of my heart I hope someday you end up in RIOT chair and design champions as such, reviving the legacy.

@@Arthis_ honestly something I'd LOVE to see is some type of rework or redesign based on a what-if where Darius wields a Darkin weapon, seeing that he has great willpower and strength I think he could endure it and also he would become extremly powerful. Other than that, I think Olaf or Gragas rework since they really need one, they are bland Freljordian characters. For new champs I'd say a cyclops from Targon or a bruiser/tanky adc are some cool new additions to league

Yeah sounds great - will the Darkin have the form or an axe too? 😃 very cool ideas!
@@Arthis_ Those character from Noxus that you've said really need some love as well, I'd say Darius is almost at the same level as Kat or Draven, but less then LB and Cass for sure. Darius having his Venom suit for a while is such a great idea and since LB already tried to kill him, this fits well and yeah, an axe 100% 😂. Gragas is probably even more desperate for a new look than all those freljord characters you said and that's really bad cause they all need it A LOT
I'd say that the Darkin would respect Darius since he's one of the greatest warrior alive, but would still try to break him and use his body as a powerful host, while Darius would probably just look at it the same way as Spider saw Venom, a powerful tool but with time the costs are too high
Just found your channel and these are great, very well done. The only thing i found odd is that the passive requires 4 stacks and each ability gives 2, why not 2 stacks and each ability gives 1?

Yes it stems from him needing 5 stacks and weaving in an auto which would give one - but I thought this could make him another crit champion who would have very big magic damage crits and very dangerous :D but then I kept the stacks he gained and changed 5 to 4 - now we can pretend he is a Jhin fanboy 😄

Basically forever ha ha, but it’s pretty difficult to pinpoint. Started drawing when I was in primary school or before. Then I started painting digitally and traditionally with around 17. And am doing this ever since with breaks. So drawing about 25 years I would say - but you don’t need 25 years for this if actually set your mind to it 😃 If you want to give it a go, PewDiePie made a really good video about drawing for 10 min 100 days and it’s really inspirational because it takes away a lot of the fear I think. He has a really good mindset on getting things done and with drawing it’s really hard to see what one drawing will do for you. But it’s a lot like going to the gym first it hurts because you can’t lift as much then you learn how to do that then you try something more difficult and hurt again and if you embrace going through that circle again and again you can be as good as a riot artists at a point 🤜🤛

That’s completely right - Ionia is even worse when it comes to tanks, especially with shen being a very special kind of tank. One day I will definitely do some kind of Ionia tank! And the brotherhood are some really cool people too take a look at again!

I love the idea of his R and the dash that only works towards enemies. For the splash I gotta say that it has some big readability problems. He's kinda hiding in the shadow and while that is fitting in theory the splash shoulf probably show him properly. Maybe adding a secondary light source giving him some rim light, like a torch, could have helped. I had trouble understanding what I was seeing in the splash. That being said awesome character. I love these fan concepts, especially when they have more unique kits or abilities. Hope to see more in thr future

I really love how his kit turned out, his Passive shows that Linden is an adaptive assassin, building Assassin items, Linden converts that Lethality into Magic Pen, remaining very beneficial to his Magic Damage heavy kit. Or he can build Mage items, hitting hard but against the squishy targets. He gets the job done with the tools he needed and I love that aspect. His arm is super cool! Riot's philosophy with "source of power" is to make it the spectacle of the champion. Viego's sword, Gwen's scissors, Senna's gun, Rell's horse, hell even Briar's feet...but Linden's mutation is hidden, it stays true to his story and when it comes out, it's this insane-high damaging-finisher ultimate, it's the spectacle of his gameplay. Furthermore, not having a full silence is very smart on your end, as you said, Linden enjoys the thrill of the chase. His E counters being attacked but not them from running and if they do, he's got Q, E1 & E2 to catch them anyways. The only thing I would change it making his Q (bread/butter as you say) deal Magic Damage to mesh with his Passive better and give a pull effect on his R, in case they do strap down under tower he can pull them out from their safety...because for Linden, no where is safe if you're his target ;) Riot's been exploring Darkins for some time, and it's inevitable until we receive the much desired Darkin support Xolaani🤞, we've seen another Primordial Demon with the release of Nilah and Demons pop up every now and then...what I want to truly see is another Aspect character like Bard/Zoe/Pantheon. The concept of Aspects is so unique to me, their death threatening the very existence of the concept they live for.

You are right it’s ages since the aspects got a new addition to their ranks and their stories. When briar came out I had the idea of making different versions of vampires that could (not)have been - one of them was the aspect of beauty who binds to a young woman - I will not spoil anything because the reasons are elaborate - and as I write this I feel like a Victorian villain plotting my coup - eventually this aspect becomes a vampire because human beauty fades ("that’s why it’s beautiful" - Kindred) and she has to get essence because in her mind this host is perfect. That’s one idea and I will probably do this if I do the vampire videos in the future. But about Targon I will put an aspect on the list and will see what we can make of it 😃

I have some gripes with the abilities on how they function together. His basic abilities look like they’re mostly for single target kills but his ult is very much an AOE-like spell and is a skill shot ability that doesn’t really flow with his other abilities as a long range skill shot for an up close and personal champ. Here’s my 2 cents: Q: Make his Q a skill shot ability that goes through enemies. It’ll help him lane and farm against champs while providing poke damage. It could also let him gain movement speed towards enemy champs if needed. Make it leave a mark for a few seconds that’ll be used for W and Ult. W: Make the dash short but when the enemy champ is marked let the initial dash be as long as shown in the video towards the target but shorter anywhere else. If he kills the target the W resets for more follow-ups. E: Turn it into an AOE slash. It can still slow and disrupt channels while still making him sticky on his opponent. If it were up to me, I would turn it into a silence because I’m an evil bastard. Also make it also mark all enemies hit by the ability so it can be a high risk-high reward for his ult To me that makes his kit flow much smoother together while still keeping that really quick “go in, get out” play style while still giving his opponents counter play. But this is just my take Edit: I would also make his marks consumable, dealing the same damage as his passive if he auto attacks his target. It can lead up to combo potential for quick burst

This came sooner than I expected! Love the detail in the coloring, the inversion of Demacian colors is neat and really serves its purpose. What I like? Well, basically everything, the kit, despite the 2 dashes lol, is really cool, the R really is the culmination of it. Absurd that you think both about the concept and the kit, props. What I don't like? What these 2 guys do for a living, damn 😭
Originally I wanted corki to have mixed pen from lethality, but I guess with his magic dmg removal this might make a lot of sense. The AP scalings are just a bit awkward though, because he can’t build lethality items with ap and most ap items become better with other ap items, so this champ will mostly profit from staph of flowing water and baron buff, when it comes to that. Building against him will also be really hard, because he gets pen and mixed damage, while his kit also just looks really snowbally, I might be wrong, but it also just feels kind of like a weird version of Camille, but being more of an answer to engage, rather than a killer him self. (Both as follow up or to sidestep enemy damage into heavy damage) While I heard others here call him an assassin, he is more of a diver since he doesn’t have to option to go out, but also brings in pretty good utility in heavy slows.
I really like the caracter design But his kit has some problems He has dashes that can make him escape (Q and W) No ability to trade or Poke in lane So he will be too passive in lane and too aggressive in team fights And if he gets fed there is absolute no counter play I think that the Q has to be changed for either a low couldown projectile or a sustain ability (shield or heart with an empowered AA) This is just my opinion But I liked Tugnore's design so much I had to point thoses problems with this one to fully be able to imagin this champion in League 🤩🤩🤩🤩
I was thinking that linden would switch his the dager whit the monster arm becoming a monster whit the dager transforming it into a sythe or somtinh more brutal and returning to a "human" because to understand monster he had to become one but never forgethin what he is.
HIs lore seems a mix of Viktor's lore of augmeting himself and Camille's personality. His kit conveys an ap skirmisher (mobility+heavy damage on autos) and assasins (lack of sustain and not heavy cc).

But I think his dynamic is a bit like a pyromaniac and the fire, he knows that with this fire if he stays around he can see a lot of trees burn - so he is fascinated by Tugnor and maybe this is his kind of love if he is capable of anything else then self love. His Q, W, E abilities are quite simple and mostly similar to already existing abilities: Fiora Q (no auto trigger), Ekko E (no auto trigger, includes recast), Jinx W (shorter range and cast time, interrupt). After watching this video i still don't understand why Linden's passive has 4 stacks if the only way to stack it up generates 2 stacks - could just be 2 stacks 1 stack per ability. Linden would always start the fight with his passive already stacked up (similar to Annie passive stun) and then after triggering it activate his basic abilities for two additional passive triggers (W has a recast so counts for passive twice) and R for yet antoher one (also has a recast) - making it a total of 4 passive triggers during a full combo. Linden's passive would be his main source of damage and he could probably build 4th item Void Staff/Cryptbloom and Sorcerer's Shoes to deal massive true damage or better than true going below 0 resistances, where damage is amplified instead of reduced. Build could go something like: Profane Hydra, Voltanic Cyclosword, Serylda's Grudge, Void Staff/Cryptbloom, Sorcerer's Shoes
Hi there, first of all, you are actually right the four stacks are a leftover from having 5 stacks which should be also available with auto attacks - I just changed to 2 instead of 3 because I thought attack speed builds could get to op - out of combat he should loose all stacks to make sure that his time to kill Is manageable. Yes the e and q are pretty generic - I was focusing on the special abilities w and r so that he has enough easy spells to fit into existing roles. This is no: I’m right more a hey here are my thoughts and about the void staff - that’s actually something pretty dangerous and would certainly become part of his build in no time, I would definitely have to look at his numbers and check if he has the potential to change a small thing to solve the issue. Champion concept? DARKIN KAIJU. Similar to/or even Naganeka The Darkin Ballista. There was concept art for early Sett that depicted a Darking Behemoth. I've always loved the idea of a darkin imprisoned inside a huge beast. Naafiri is something like that, but really watered down.
You really opened my eyes. I never quite thought about a big beast being possessed by the darkin. But this seems super interesting! And he could be around bilgewater with all the sea monsters! And if the darkin ever fight the void again he could be really useful against Belveths minions.!
Ngl, Linden and Tin Can Man are both inspiring me to work on some of the champion ideas I got for awhile. I mentioned the Mageseeker General idea in the previous video, but recently I also had this idea for a Noxian Bannerman champion who gameplay wise is a hybrid of a Diver (fighters like J4, Vi, and Warwick) and an Enchanter (supports like Nami, Sona, and Soraka), getting in the middle of a fight while healing allies with every attack they land.
Hey, definitely keep it coming I’m open to all sorts of ideas! And if I can inspire people to think about champions in that way maybe some of those things get into the game and this would be awesome 🥳🙌🏻
I'd say it'd be nice if Riot would hire you but I think it'd be a waste because we wouldn't much of your work DIRECTLY before years from now. So I think having access to a YT channel where you can post your stuff for basically free. Although it is quite sad that yes, we possibly won't see these reworks and new ideas be realized, at least we can enjoy the idea of them existing on RU-vid.
Those are very true words! I would love to work on this channel if I get to riot, but then I don’t know if I could, would be allowed to do the same or even would have time. I think as a community we probably have to find a way to make a lot of cool stuff with the fan designs and maybe inspire some future champions. 🤝
holy fucking gods, first time viewer here but you SERIOUSLY nailed a perfect design and used aspects of the mageseeker so well in Linden's design. The mask, the cape covering that arm. Now that is beautiful.
Somebody making a fan-champ that ISNT insanely busted? A Miracle.... He looks like he would be a mid-game menace, but weak in lane with decent end game scaling. he doesnt have an ability that lets him target all 3 melee minions at the start like most midlane assasins do(Unless his cruelty hits multiple, but using that would still be a weakness due to losing disengage and getting poked out), but his level 3 fighting would be great with E slow, Dash, into empowered auto, with cruelt as disenage or execute. He definitley perma-roams botlane level 6 lmao.

If i was on RIOT design team, I would hire you immediately, or at least buy your design. and one thing that I would change to make the character a bit uniqueness is to replace his dagger with something more off-weapon. something that he might carry everywhere that dont look so weaponry. like a normal staff that can transform mechanically into several pieces that resemble a claw-blade. I mean people like Liden should have a secret Arsenal given to him by Damacias "Shadow" Organization right.
I just can't get over his design. The close-ups of his face just make him look so slimy, god I just shiver thinking about this disgusting fellow. I think his voice would carry the drawl and dignity of Swain or Camille, but more palid and sinister, and much less grandiose. His lore is neat but I'm left wondering of a few things. Why is he a mageseeker at all? How did this miscreant end up in high society politics? I feel like his character is defined by his roles and positions to other already existing story landmarks, so his personal ideas and motivations seem unclear. He's definitely an unfeeling sadist for sure, but I doubt power for its own sake would satisfy him. I think he just likes the chaos and shadows of politics and unrest and conflict, maybe the thrill of literally and figuratively backstabbing people is the only thing that actually draws his attention? idk just spitballin, more than enough for a sub from me. cant wait to see more!
Hey, thanks so much for the comment! Yeah, he’s a difficult one - my thought was that he enjoyed being a bully when he was young, but he was so clever to basically get through with it. And when looking at people in politics, I don’t think it’s so hard to imagine that with the right parents or the right contacts you can get through with a lot of stuff. About his motivation: I think he’s mostly about the thrill and of course, as you said a sadist. And as a non-mage (pre mutation) suppose the thought of hurting mages really feels a bit like going and poking a bear with a stick because you know that you could be undone if you don’t know what you are doing. Also for his voice, I thought of someone like Silcos snarling speech, a bit bored never quite in the conversation with his mind so that it’s clear that this is a game for him. And then ofc when he attacks he is vicious and gloating. :D happy he is a W in your book 🥳
Sublime work as always. Though i would hate to play against him (something something onetapped before i could flinch /lh) i think its a great and balanced design. The only thing that worries me is the ult, but that could be a question of balancing. He and Ugnor really give me Viego Thresh vibes. Ugnor being the one track mind mission but Linden being the one behind it in actual control for his own goals. Great work man.

I know riot will neve do it, but this game really could use some mecha characters based on armored cored. Imagine some people on Piltolver gets frustrated on hextech being the society focus and decide to focus on cybernetics, building war machines to face celestials and darkins. Whatever, I just want to play a Gundam in Rift.
Have you thought of collabing with EkkoLogical channel? Maybe he can somehow implement your abilities into the game so you have actual ability demonstration... Could be fun
I know about him. I’m still trying to get a good base with my videos, but I would really like to work with some people like Ekko! I think for this to work, I would have to model my champion first so that he could use it as a skin on a champion 🤔

The only thing i can see issue with is that he's visually a bit too much like Jhin especially silhouette wise with the cloak on but 4m the splash art in the way he crouches you can see that hes actually very different, he enjoys the fun of "painting" itself while Jhin is much more interested in the final product What would you add to him visually to display that part of his personality?
Hey, thank you for the feedback! That’s actually an interesting question. I think he could wear a bag with instruments for his subjects, or I would probably give him a 3rd arm that does his own stunts. Imagine out of his shoulder he has this mutation and it can split into two arms one for normal use and one like a venom like arm hidden in his cloak, which had to be on the back then, but he would still have this small upper cloak just in this case all around and when he stands idle the hand comes out of the cloak like a giant monster snake. In this case the cloak could be on the ground behind him and he would walk with his knife to the side for example. And if he enters combat you have this snake like arm around him grabbing at the air. This would make him readable in battle, while keeping the vibe out of combat 🤔
I don’t like the game But I looooove the characters This guy, linden is another god and cool design of the darker side of Demacia I hope to one day get good enough at my digital art to make good character portfolios like this Especially for some of the ideas ove us already.

It’s actually a great idea, I’m just really bad in expanding my business stuff. But you are absolutely right. I have to get this sorted once I reach, I don’t know 20 K here. That gives me time to get everything sorted 😄 But it’s a great idea to give power to patrons to have a say in these designs.
