'making my work support my life and not the other way around'; i think that's such a great outlook and i'm really glad you said it. creating a structure where your work fits into your life rather than consuming it entirely
You can try painting the kallax shelves to add some color! Also for that corner I recommend an upwards facing floor lamp. They soften shadows and make the room brighter and less harsh, perfect for corners and to help with filming on your traditional art desk.
how u plan things inspire me so much, you helped me grow my art style in general. thank you for all the videos i really enjoy watching them while i draw
YAYYY new post!! as someone who has a corkboard in their workspace, its so helpful, i really recommend it! and when you are more work free, you can still pin up your art prints!! Your art studio is looking sooo lovely already!🌻💫💫
This looks so exciting!!! I love love love it can't wait to see more hehehe. i can understand being a bit anxious to get back in to things but TRUST you got this! There will always be another day, just do what you can today (AND REST) :)
This Makes Me SO Excited For When Me And My BF Get In A Spot To Look Into Getting Our Own Place,, Having A Room Dedicated To My Art Is A Dream! Hope You're Loving Your New Space! :D
i love that you're being realistic about consumption. i personally think there's a greater satisfaction in making the best out of what you have rather than replace everything. the new space looks very nice, congrats! :)
exactly! and saves room/funds in the future if I find something that I actually really like and will find a use for! a win win, just takes a little longer :')
it has been long hasn't it? but we're back and better than ever! (and thank you, I am contemplating going back to short but I may keep it long for the winter!) great to see your comments critique!
Oml I have the exact same drafting desk ironically I got it in middle school, lmao. It's very worn down now and the cover has torn in places,😅 I never thought of replacing it with wood wrap tho that's a great idea!
I see Heartstopper and demand you get all 5 of them, cause they are great and the covers are pretty af T.T Personally have them all, but no place to display
minimalism ftw! i stand by waiting a bit until you're acclamated to the space and have time to actuallly figure out what you need instead of just buying a bunch of stuff and creating unnecessary clutter, it's just a much better strategy
exactly! It's really difficult for me to spend money on a bunch of stuff at once, so this slow approach has been a lot better for my mental health and my wallet :"D
Hello! I came from the finishing your sketchbook video and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on avoiding crinkled paper when you paint on the pages? Do I need to get a sketchbook with specific paper? Thanks!🎉
uhhh I think my pages just get pressed down overtime with them being in a sketchbook! the talens art creation sketchbook that I mainly use is not great for water based media but I force it to work for myself lol you can check out my art supplies tour from last year if you need more info!!
