Designing the Creatures for "Where the Wild Things Are" 

I loved the creatures in this, they looked like they did in the book and it was very well done visually.

I could only hope my art career goes the way this guy went. To be in a movie you help design the characters for. This guy is living the dream. Thanks Vice!!

I also really liked this movie in the theater. the creatures looked so neat brought to life and it reminded me of when I was a little boy and got pissed off and hated my mom and then felt ashamed of myself for being such a brat to her.

Would of been good to add Sonny's name / title as an introduction in the beginning of the clip. Really interesting and useful information. Especially that last part.. Don't try to make what you think the client wants. Do what you think is good because it'll turn out better.

These comments are so weird to me because most are from 10 years ago and all they care about is repeating the same thing about him smoking weed…WHO CARES I’m so happy people are more accepting or the people who are prudes are just getting old and dying off. Add something meaningful to comments not just the same thing. I loved this movie and just wrote about it for my media class so I’m shocked this is all people had to say about it way back then.

I watched this in the cinema, my mates and I were the only people without kids in there. Half an hour in they were getting restless, shuffling about and talking; at one point I went to the toilet and I was washing my hands when a guy came in with his son. I didn't catch the beginning of their conversation but I heard the kid (who was about 5 or 6) exclaim: "but, Daddy, it's REALLYY BORING!!!!". The father was like "okay, we'll go if it doesn't pick up soon". I thought it was pretty good, though!

When i watched the movie i was like 19 or 20 years old. I was thinking about it and an island with monsters like that is fucking scary.
