Here's a funny story. I've only seen these posts broken off once and it was on T610. At the time the machine was less than 2 years old. I explained to the customer that I would have to order a carriage for it. He said "I'm not putting that kind of money into that old piece of junk. I'll throw it out and buy a new one." I tried to explain that the machine was not old and well worth repairing. He wouldn't budge. So I super glued the belt to the carriage. I told him to plan on a carriage when the belt wears out. He was happily plotting when I left and never heard from him since.
It's possible but difficult to get the belt and clip on the carriage without removing the carriage from the rail. I'd say it's more of a pain than it's worth.
Hello. The carriage bushing can be replaced without taking the carriage out of the plotter. See: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4J0BbPY6ZZY.html
