That whiskey room is really gorgeous. A snug, warm and welcoming little room. With that fire going on a cold winter evening I imagine it must be a lovely place to sit and relax.

Nice tidy (no pun intended!) little project. The only alteration I would suggest is a chamfered front edge to the coin tray so it’s easier to scoop them out (like that have at the banks).

Great video Always good to use the off cuts for smaller projects i would suggest using an rounded bit when cutting out the pockets as it would help stop chip out over time

Nice little project John, I can think of one or two people who'd love one so now I have another to-do for the shed :) Like that tracksaw as well. If I ever manage to get a larger shed than the 8x6 one, one of the first things on the list for it was an 8x4 assembly table that doubled as an MFT-style table for sheet materials, and a tracksaw rather than a tablesaw to use with it. Good to know the Bosch one is that capable.

A nice idea and looking around at my desk it is something that I could do with, my only concern is the power lead for the phone. I find that the end of the charger is the most vulnerable bit and very prone to breaking, the constant plugging in and out would exasperate this and cause it to break. A wireless charging idea would be much better. I will be making one of these but with a but Wireless charger.

Nava great video John sounds quite good and quirky. Might have to to invest in a track saw and wrote to 1 day it might be quite good for me with vision impairment to cut inwards straight

@@JohnMcGrathManInShed just to keep you in the loop John, Ray Gtahams are out of stock of the kits in 110 and 230v sent them an email and they said just to keep checking the site.Tried other tool retailers down here more expensive and out of stock as well
