great video work. oh a darn good song too. Ever time I hear or think about The Row I can hear WNEW- FM's DJ Scott Muni on a summer day in 1970 or so, introduce in his deep classic rock voice; "Desolation --- . A Classic " .
Tonight 9/17/24: Desolation Row brought live anew. Buffalo. NY. 💥THIS one Beautiful instrumental start…😘 So curious how it was last night🎶🌹💃🕺🎶🌹 Thank youu for this grand Song and Singing it🌹🌺❣️
So great when he breaks into a guitar solo at the 4:26 mark! ...and there are several other of his guitar interludes. One of those songs that always sounds great, but always best from Dylan - from 'Lucky'. He's having so much fun, smiling widely sometimes.
How great you ‘caught’ these 32 versions Mario❣️👌 I like that way of ordening! Me myself have it all stacked under Dylan! Horrible hee! Hope you go well?
mario7frankielee You don’t know what ‘live’ is about once you ‘be muse’💫👏👏👏💫😜 I use to play violin and later percussion, from which the last one on stage in Amsterdam . It was a jamming session before some band would come. It was a great feel to play together❣️
This is the third vid of watched of him performing Desolation Row live and as much as I love it wonder why he skipped so many beautiful versus to that 1o verse song. It’s a master work of songwriting. But one this is certain, the musicality of the three vids is immaculate.
Thomas de Lello.. Somewhat late but I see it now: The Circus is in town..!! What should we care about Dylan names..As long as we have his music🎶🎶🌹❤️🌷👌🎶🎶
I always had a problem to distinguish bob dylan's own guitar playing. They used to play "separate" individual's of the musician. Of course it's important do trace his own , second version.
Robert Zimmerman has got more alias' than anybody I know. If fact, "Alias" is one of them too...! He's Lucky Wilbury, Elston Gunn, Blind Boy Grunt... Can you think of another one...?
Andy Wolf I always. connected. it to the boo's he got when he went electric. He always laughed it off but there had to be pain that went with it. He handles his critics well but there has to be some wounds there. I'm thankful he stayed true to his music. Brillance..
Yes, if you're talking about in Sydney where it happened twice - maybe something to do with being unable to save artist Brett Whiteley who was reaching out to him at the time, just my personal theory based on a question Brett asked Bob at a press conference and a theory that sometimes things aren't as they seem, or alternatively maybe Bob felt a bit unloved at the time.
