Desoto County Jail, located in Hernando Mississippi, recently embarked on a digital transformation journey to improve the conditions and operations of their correctional facility. In this video, we'll take a look at their journey and how they were able to achieve ACA accreditation by implementing GUARDIAN RFID.
Before the transformation, Desoto County Jail faced several challenges that hindered their ability to record and manage standards set by the American Correctional Association (ACA).
However, by leveraging GUARDIAN RFID, Desoto County Jail was able to streamline their processes and significantly improve the documentation of their inmate tracking, supplies, and movements. They implemented a range of digital solutions from GUARDIAN RFID, such as mobile inmate tracking devices (SPARTANS), Operational Intelligence, and Medication Manager.
The transformation was a massive success, and as a result, Desoto County Jail was able to achieve and maintain their ACA accreditation. This accreditation is a testament to their commitment to improving the conditions of their jails and ensuring the safety and well-being of their inmates.
