DESPAIRITY - Pin Cushion (MLP) 

Here's my back story to this one: one by one the ponies of friendship vanished but came back as horrible creatures created out of their own greed, all but one. Rarity, she vanished but never came back. Many thought she had gone out to get more silky fabrics she needed for a dress that the Princess has requested, but she never returned. Ponyville became worried of where she had gone and sent out search parties, they had come back empty handed. Her home was locked and no one was able to go in. Anyone who tried failed and gave up, the ponies decided to search around her house for a way in and saw one window barely open on the second floor. Unable to lift it, they broke it instead and made their way inside. The lights didn't work, they used their flashlights and searched the house for clues. They heard a piercing scream from downstairs, the ponies rushed down. To their horror they found Rarity tied up by ribbons, blood leaking from her button eyes and stitched back, pins and a needle injected deep into her flesh. The police ponies were brave enough to see if she was still alive, after they tapped her a few times she raised her head and looked around. A smile creeped onto her once beautiful face. "Look what you made me do..."

She had gotten lost in her work... Ignoring her friends for the past few weeks had paid off. She'd gotten all of her orders filled. But at what price? Now she was a prisoner of the thing she loved most: designing clothing. There was no escaping her fate now.. No unlocking that door, no going back. She only knew one thing, and that was: no order is left uncompleted. She had her work cut out for her...

"I'm beautiful now"

Back Story: As usual, Rarity was stitching a dress for somepony. The rain was pouring outside, so more than likely, the customer wouldn't be getting their dress until the storm let up. A booming thunderclap echoed through the boutique, making everything quake. From on top of her bed, a small red book fell, which Rarity had never seen there before. The book was bound in red leather, and a giant black lock sat in top, concealing the insides of the book. Rarity used an unlocking spell to unlock it, and it worked! The contents was a spell book, a majority of the spells Rarity did not know. But one caught her eye as she was flipping through the pages. A 'Simple Stitching' spell. Although Rarity had an uneasy feeling about it, she choose to ignore it and cast the spell. Shooting pains started down her back as stitches appeared there. Pins were stuck into her back, adding on to the unbearable pain. She was screeching as ribbons wrapped themselves around her body and her eyes were replaced with sewn in buttons. Finally, she stopped struggling, and her body went limp... The end.

Neytirix is always looking for an excuse to make the eyes bleed.

Rarity was usually busy with new designs for whatever pony that was willing to pay for them. Rarity needed money after all to get the fabrics and pins needed for each one. one rainy night a mysterious unicorn came to her parlour, the unicorn asked if she could stay the night. Rarity of course said yes to the unicorn's request. The unicorn looked in awe of the amazing dresses and designs that were scattered throughout the parlour, one dress in particular caught her eye. this dress had a lovely color to it with dazzling gemstones decorated on the dress. since the dress wasn't completed, pins lined the dress. while looking at it a few pins fell out of place ruining the dress, Rarity, not seeing the cause, lashed at the unicorn in a fit of rage. the unicorn used their powerful magic to transform rarity into a type of doll, and stuck the very pins that fell into her back as a punishment for wrongfully accusing them. Sitting there in an unshowing pain, Rarity became a living pin cushion.

Night. Rarity was fast asleep. She didn't hear it coming. She was exhausted from a long day of making the most beautiful dresses for her friends. There was it , standing in the corner , gazing at the sleeping pony. "It" was tall and very slender. Its hands had very long claw-like fingers. Two very big milky eyes stared from the shadows and a hunchback figure emerged from the dark. Catlike ears and long legs with deformed paws reflected the light of the thunder. It grabbed a few ribbons from the workstation and tied Rarity up. She opened her eyes and settled for a moment, clearly not awake enough to understand the danger of the situation. Then , she saw it, screamed , begged ,cried. But the figure only stared. It dragged her downstairs , in her Workroom and slashed her back open. Rarity screeched as the figure started to stitch her up, take her organs and eyes out and cut off her horn. Then, silence. It stitched her up. The work was done. Now she didn't have to worry anymore about her needles and pins missing.

She kinda looks like a voodoo doll.

I like this horror mlp genre. I think it puts a... new contrast against the cute mlp world. Very creative!!!

Out of all the ponies, desparity is my favourite. I also really like shreaky pie!

Rarity was busy making an ordanary dress for somepony, the rain lashed against the window making it disturbing for her to work but Rarity still focused on her desgins. Meanwhile SweetieBell was fast asleep in her cosy bed. Rarity was preparing the ribbons and knitting tools as she lifted one of the materials a page flowed Infront of her. She placed the material on a large table and looked at the page. Rarity stared blankly at it, it said on how to perform a creative spell. As she read through it the words twisted in her head. The customer's dress was supposed to be done and scheduled tommorow at 8AM so she had no choice but to test it. Carefully one step at a time, ribbons blue, pink and red started to cover her boutique's cealing with them they surrounded her and twisted around her hooves, needles began pinging to her back, ontop of crissed-crossed stitches.. they began showing themselves on her manaquins. Continuing on forming the spell, blue, dull buttons were patched on her eyes making her look like a teddy. Her manaquin's eyes started to tear blood when their eyes filled with eternal black. Slowly, her magic sparked out and was covered in blood, unable to live anymore her neck hung from the ribbon and sat dead, like a plushie.. Sweetie-Bell had no idea what was in store for her tommorow.

After all her friends died, Rartiy becomes pcho and drives crazy. Sticking pins in her body to soothen her, just became more crazy after she stopped sticking her thinks becoming a voodoo doll will help her to bring her friends back. Just made her die with a sad life. No pony lives in Ponyville anymore becuse of what happened to the six friends.. Only Rarity's body rotting is left in Ponyville maybe the girl that thought of being a fashion designer just became something else..

Take a break from what you do. It’s okay to do it in your free time. Just not when it takes over other plans. *types while I’m supposed to be sleeping* Don’t follow my example .~.’

I think this as rarity being stressed from all the work, staying inside for such a long period of time working and working, then she just goes insane from being inside for too long and not socializing enough to keep her sane from stress and decides to use herself to design clothes. She went overboard and made herself look like a stuffed pony. Removing her eyes to make her purposely look like a stand.

I don't like when people add those backstories in the comments, I prefer just the eerieness and mystery of this series.

It was a normal day for Rarity. She had just finished a new design and was elated to begin a new one, but she found a small green gem that bleed a dazzling light, and without thinking, she sewed it to the front of the new dress, not knowing it had an evil spell. A few moments later she felt an exploding pain on her back, as if someone was shooting daggers through her spine. It turned out the gem was cursed with magic to make what the victim liked to do most turn on her. The End

My backstory: Rarity was working a lot. She had many large and complex orders. She barely left the house, didn't sleep many nights amd neglected her self care. After her orders were done, she looked extremely disheveled. Rarity cried for hours because of her lost beauty. She didn't want to show her face, she thought she was the ugliest pony in town,no, in Equestria. She had heard of a unicorn that could grant wishes. She snuck into the Everfree forest under the blanket of night. "Please just make me beautiful again!" Rarity cried to her. The unicorn's horn glowed, and she told Rarity to sit in her home and wait. Rarity sat in her sewing room as a storm raged on. Her eyes started to glow, she had heard that this was when the spell started to work, she wanted to get up and dance, but she felt something wrap around her hooves, it was ribbon. It was constricting blood and Rarity started to bleed. Her glowing blue eyes morphed into buttons as blood started to pouring out of her sewn up back. Pins stuck into her, she tried to move but she couldn't. She was stuck, she could barely breath. Stuck, beautiful, but stuck

After Discord had taken control of everything, he brought chaos opinion everything, and terrifying punishments to the ponies who tried to stop him. He used chaotic torture to the ponies, braking their minds and bodies. It would be this way FOREVER.

Back story that will get lost in sea of comments: Rarity was stress sowing a dress together, when she heard a knock at the door. "Whoever would that be at this time of hour..?" It was thundering, bad, and Rarity wasn't expecting anypony to come on by. She opened the door and saw a bag with a book in it. Rarity picked up the book and brought it inside. "Now who would give me a book for a gift? Is it full of fabulous ideas and designs?" She flipped it open and skimmed through the book. "All this book has is spells to be stress free while multitasking! How is THIS dumb book going to help?" Rarity ignored the fact that she just called it dumb and didn't need it's help, feeling stupid, she opened the book to a page. This spell should do it.. "she read it through many times to master it and, of course, she tried it. When nothing happened she shrugged and decided to finish her dress. A minute later ribbon was being wrapped around her, pulling her into a sitting position. "Sweetie Belle, this better not be one of your pranks!" A ribbon wrapped around her neck, almost choking her. "Gah-!, Sweetie Belle, stop!" Then she remembered, Sweetie Belle is having a sleep over at Applejacks with Scootaloo and Applebloom. Pins striked her back, along with a needle "sowing" her back. It must be the spell, she thought. But there's no turning back now.. Buttons.. sewed to her eyes.. Rarity stopped trying and went limp. The spell was right.. she is stress free while she was multitasking. (Dumb story I know, but hope you enjoyed it!) :D

Rarity was once a pony known to love sewing and drawing and making Dress’s but one day, she found that it seems to get harder as she’s growing in the big city. She makes ideas from there and then but this time she traveled to get new ideas bold and bright but stumping into the library finding a book But she doesn’t know it will hurt her in the making turning her into her own dress

It looks like she tried to use a spell to help her get her work done, but then she accidently overdid it and wound up being cursed by it in the process. She cannot control her own movements anymore. The shop is kow the puppeteer and she the puppet, sewing forever and unable to leave.
