I don't agree with most of the comments, Susan was not unreasonable, selfish and annoying in this episode, she was unreasonable, selfish and annoying in the whole show.
As the show went by I started hating Susan more and more. She always thought her problems are the center of the world and always getting involved in other peoples lives and making them worse.
He is her son allrigt! And thr katherine was the one who is sneaky because she was always knew that mike loves susan but she still trying to make it as a thing desperately!
Susan was very silly and unreasonable in this episode. MJ was already fond of her boyfriend Jackson and Mike liked Jackson too to the point to exchanging playful banter with him so what's the harm of MJ growing fond of Katherine? Susan was just jealous because Katherine was a very good cook; while she was a disaster in the kitchen
Susan was just being stupid in this episode. Mike has to work and with Susan working, someone had to watch MJ so why can't it be Katherine whose job doesn't require her to travel to plan events and catering kitchen is right at Bree's house. How was Katherine suppose to treat MJ? Make it horrible for him so he wouldn't want to go over there anymore? I always found Susan annoying and she just butted her nose in Mike and Katherine's relationship that it wasn't even funny. Throughout the show if Susan couldn't be happy nobody else deserves to be happy.
No she wasn't. She and Mike are in a relationship. she's going to be around MJ. Susan has to grow up and deal with that because frankly the divorce is her fault anyway.

Funny last episode Catherine was in a towel and Susan was threating to remove it now Susan is in a bathrobe and Catherine isn't going and pulling the robe off
I think this is when the whole obsession and wicked love for Mike that Katherine was starting to develop for Mike started out. And then eventually carried on into season 6..
I don't understand this Susan hate. She definitely wasn't as fantastic as Gabby or Bree but she had great and funny moments. It's Tom that annoyed the hell out of me.
If you don’t understand the Susan hate go to the Desperate Housewives subreddit and look up Susan Mayer Hate, there you will find THOUSANDS of reasons why people hate her guts. She’s truly a despicable and nasty character.
All of the women do some pretty bad things, so that's not why for me. I felt that the other characters were more interesting than Susan, including Katherine, Angie and Renee. Bree had a great amount of character depth, while Gaby showed a lot of growth. The Solis family probably could've had a spinoff show. Susan became boring, with routinely whining about MJ slowly becoming her defining trait. However, she stepped up in a major way after Mike died
J Par I definitely agree that Susan was boring, I think it’s because she didn’t have any growth throughout the seasons. She stayed pretty much the same and didn’t learn from her experiences, while all the others became so much better as the show went on.
@@aleigh6998 yeah , but just believing a kid that say “mommy/daddy said yes” is not exactly the truth all the time. Just a “hey Susan , don’t freak out , mj is with me” would’ve been appropriate I think
While that's true, I don't think that would've changed anything about Susan's point. She thought Katherine was scheming beyond this moment and would've found a different time to blow up on Katherine I don't completely fault Susan though, because Katherine started dating her ex husband, after they had a nasty split (and, he still loved Susan)
Nope. Her situation is sad but she barged over in a robe to accuse and demand a women just because shes nice to her kid and that makes her insecure. If she was a better mom, she wouldnt feel so threathen by a women who clearly is not doing anything more that (in her own words) is being nice to the kidnof the man shes dating. Or would Susan prefer her to be a cold bitch?
