Can you imagine your child(ren) behaving like ASSHOLES like their 2 kids were??? I don't know what I would do.. PROBABLY DISOWN THEM!!! LOLOLOLOL... Terrific actors!!!
I love the progression of bree's character accepting and understanding, actually a pretty real portrayal of a parent struggling to understand their childs sexuality
Brilliant actress! Quite astonishing when you see any of the cast interviewed! So different from their screen characters! And I totally believed in those screen characters! But in interviews, they are such sweeties!
Bree's character improved so much over time! She was like a robot in S1 and 2, miles away from the frank, funny and supportive person she is here. What a transformation! :-D
I'd say it's a tie between her and Gaby.... They both seemed so one-dimensional at first, and yet have both shown amazing growth, class, and strength over the course of the series at times...
Bayougirl78 well I don't think Gaby has really evolved, the character was still very selfish at the end and escaped from any situation (without resolving it) because she is pretty and had a *funny* line... It was cute and fierce at the beginning... But at the end, to me her plots were the useless one...
"Honey, your here, your queer and im used to it" I remember my aunt telling my cousin something along the same lines when he got his heart broken by his boyfriend and swore off all men, vowing to date only girls.
That was the conversation when my mom started accepting my homosexuality. She is a conservative woman, and a religious one. I was in a bad shape after a break up, and she said: "Don't be so sad, my son. You'll find a new boyfriend".
The story having Bree have a gay son was genius it really boosted her character development on so many levels,,,,,on a side note those army doctor videos are amazing Andrew has great taste !....
I always hear this quote, whenever i see someone arrived at their final destination ""You're here, You're Queer and i'm used to it" Yass bitch!!!" never knew what it meant until now.
1 of the themes in the show though is that alot of people are not merely just good or evil but have good sides and bad sides hence the characters were never meant to embody angelic qualities. It was supposed to show their flaws too. That's what made them human.
Andrew could have been bi, but since the writers erased that as a possiblity for Katherine, this comes as no surprise. Yay Bree for finally accepting your son!
ooo yeah no, my mum is like Bree from the first 2 seasons and it is a living nightmare, the homophobia, the transphobia, the perfectionism. its too much to take and on top on that she drugs me to fix my behaviour
Homosexuality is not choice Andrew, you were born this way. I'm clapping for Bree, she adapts to changing times real quick, damn she's been studying how to be politically correct.
Brees politics had nothing to do with her loving her son as he is. Bree is still a hardcore Republican Conservative Pro Gun owning homemaker woman! LOL 😂
No, Gabrielle matured a lot, for example she didn't want kids at all at the beginning - she ended up with 2, whom she loved dearly. She stayed with Carlos through thick and thin, she helped Angy in season 6.... So no, she really matured over the course of series
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 But I never mentioned Gabrielle regarding the "didn't developed" part. I think she even had a bigger development than Bree. I just wanted to point out who barely had a development at all.
@@dust2k13 Susan and Lynette were the more neutral 2 from the start. Gaby and Bree were the extremes. Thus why their development seems more apparent. But Susan and Lynette most certainly did develope.
I know that Andrew really didn't like that lady, but as much as I LOVE the TV show i can't deny the series had a really big bi-erasure (with Katherine too)
I hated the way he treated her. Even got so bad to the point she couldn't take it anymore and she abandoned him. Sad but he had it coming after what he did
