Desperately Seeking Susan Trailer - Directed by Susan Seidelman and starring Aidan Quinn, Mark Blum, Robert Joy, Will Patton, Peter Maloney. Roberta is a bored suburban housewife who is fascinated with a woman, Susan, she only knows about by reading messages to and from her in the personals section of the newspaper. This fascination reaches a peak when an ad with the headline "Desperately Seeking Susan" proposes a rendezvous. Roberta goes too, and in a series of events involving amnesia and mistaken identity, steps into Susan's life.

The entire entertainment industry is too jealous of Madonna to remake her music or movies. They don't want to reference her at all except in a demeaning way. Haven't you noticed?

I was wondering why they used "this female" to do the voiceover because it's unremarkable. But it sounds like Martha Quinn, who is obviously not trained in trailer voiceovers.

Ich fand diesen Film wunderbar! Später war ich nicht mehr ein Madonna-Fan, da ihre Musikrichtung nicht meine ist. Aber für diesen Film (andere von ihr kenne ich nicht) habe ich sie geliebt! Und Sean Penn natürlich auch! Seine späteren Filme habe ich zum Teil gesehen, immer mit Genuss! Sein Spiel ist zurückhaltend und gleichzeitig explosiv!

just watched this movie, for first time in years, and the trailer on the dvd ( same as this one) and movie has no birthday cake blow out, or got a quarter, wanna play scene!. so guess they got cut from the movie :-/

We sure have improved upon our trailer-making skills. I'd still rather have this cheesy style over the modern trailers that give away the whole movie though.
