DESPERATELY Trying to Save My Datsun 620 from SCRAP

The first thing you will need to do is get any salvagable parts off the truck and get them inside a garage to keep them from rusting any further. Second thing is to sand them down on the inside, and apply either rust olem black paint or bed liner pain on the underside of the salvageable parts. Afterward, paint the underside of the bed and sides of the bed again to prevet rust and corrosion from taking effect, and as you are doing weld in replacement pieces that your welding in, again undercoating the underside to keep things from rusting out. Painting the frame/chassis and tge underside floor boars are also recomended to. Most of all, HOPEFULLY, you won't go lowering this beautiful looking little truck down to the ground and putting those hideous looking wagon wheels and thin tires on this truck. After you reassrmble the truck, now it's time to sand it completely down, prime it and paint it a nice color. Lastly, a couple gallons of bed liner coating will also be a good thing to use to keep the bed from rusting and protecting it from any rust or corrosion.
