This is impeccable Dining. 110 years of Tradition. I've been in food service Sales. A Meat Purveyor, Food Broker and Chef. I've walked in and out of Kitchens where the food is Legendary. What I've noticed about Cattleman's is that there is a factor and a person who oversees that factor. Cattleman's has a Staff that is never ever Second Best but always the Best at serving you without disturbing your meal or conversation. There is always an atmosphere of Rich, Old West Dining in a Cattle Barons dining room. Dick Stubs and David Egan are Masters of Quality and empecable Dining. They Wait Staff understands as does the Kitchen Staff that if someone isn't doing their job then the whole machine grinds to a hault. Great place to Dine.
I have lived from one end of this country to the other, and Cattlemen's is my favorite place to eat. The steaks are grilled to your specifications and the flavor is incredible. NOW, the salad dressing is one of a kind (only made at this restaurant) and I have two salads when I go there. Just delicious! And the rolls are like dessert. I've never had their dessert because I am too full of salad and steak and rolls. And I am happy with that. I now live three hours south, but I will be there on my birthday. Yum yum.
I go to OKC on business several times a year. I never miss a visit to Cattleman's. Their steaks are always cooked to my order (Medium Rare). Still can't get them to give up the salad dressing recipe😂. And the seasoning for the steaks is great. Absolutely no need for steak sauce, you destroy a great steak with thst stuff. The Lamb fries are a hard pass though. Just not my cup of tea.
A half inch steak is tuff, they just taking your money. So, find a better place that serves steaks. They are the lemons of steakhouses. I give a rating of 0. They are cattle theives
