Em pleno verão, as praias portuguesas enchem-se de turistas, que, após um ano de trabalho, gozam as suas merecidas férias. Mas, na verdade, há cada vez mais pessoas a querer desfrutar desta época do ano longe da confusão das praias urbanas, optando pela tranquilidade e beleza natural das praias fluviais do interior do país. Entre vales e montanhas, há pequenos refúgios com represas naturais e pequenas cascatas de água, que nos convidam a fazer uma pausa e a relaxar, mas não só. Nestes paraísos naturais também há espaço para aventuras e experiências mais radicais. Neste episódio da série “Sustainable Destination” viajamos até à Pampilhosa da Serra para realizar as atividades promovidas pela empresa de animação turística Epic Land, e visitamos também as praias fluviais da rede de Aldeias Históricas de Portugal, que, além do seu património histórico e cultural único, estão apostadas em oferecer ao turista uma experiência cada vez mais refrescante e sustentável.

In the middle of summer, Portugal's beaches fill up with tourists enjoying their well-deserved vacation after a year's work.
