Destiny 1 & 2: The Full Story of ULDREN SOV, The Forsaken Prince
This video serves as a tribute to one of my favorite characters in all of Destiny, Uldren Sov. The awoken prince, and younger brother to Queen Mara Sov, falls to madness by the hand of a creature that he found in its infancy. Which he originally gifted to Mara as an act of kindness. This creature was Riven of a thousand voices, the last known Ahamkara. The Ahamkara were wish-making, shape-shifting, reality-bending dragons who preyed on the desires of any given individual. After the fight with Oryx, Oryx would enter The Dreaming City and take Riven. After Oryx died, Riven would then be under the control of a new hive master, Savathun, the witch queen. Meanwhile, Uldren, drowned in grief, would be preyed upon by Riven over his desire to see his sister again. The years of continuous neglect from Mara made Uldren dash himself to pieces in an effort to please her and receive even a sliver of validation. Riven would take advantage of this and would whisper into Uldren's ear under the guise of his sister's voice. This made Uldren believe Mara was crying out for help and needed to be freed from The Dreaming City. Once again, this was merely Riven manipulating Uldren so that she may escape her paradise turned prison, The Dreaming City. Uldren killing Cayde was orchestrated by Riven because she knew that we would kill Uldren, enter The Dreaming City, slay her, and then curse The Dreaming City as the Last Wish was made by Savathun herself, who wished to curse the city and create a murder battery to grow infinitely stronger and eventually enter the distributary. This is where the awoken became the awoken and they are unable to permanently die and come back upon death just like guardians. However, hive thrive upon death and destruction as stated by their Sword Logic. This would lead to the taken Vex Mind, Quria, Blade Transform to make The Dreaming City undergo its 3 week curse cycle to create an endless time loop of death and destruction to feed the witch queen's power.
