James Dutton is John's Great Great Grandfather John Sr would be his great grandfather so I think Jack Dutton is his grandfather

Well Spencer is the Brother of John Sr their parents are the great great grandparents of John III meaning either Spencer or John Sr are the great grandparents of John III so either Spencer will have kids of his own or Jack and Elizabeth are John III grandparents

We’ll have to wait and see for next season. Yes it’s tragic they lost the baby. Bu they lost “A” baby. There’s a chance they can try and have another child which they may receive later down the line. Here’s hoping that Jack is the father of John Jr and that he’s the main character in the upcoming 1944 prequel series. Him and Spencer, who would be in his late 50s.

@@technopirate304 Spencer will live. After Episode 3, we found out John died and that Spencer will carry the family during the Great Depression. etc It seems like Alexandra may had been pregnant in the last episode. I'm thinking she will arrive in Montana to find Spencer by the end of Season 2 Finale. There is no time for him to waste looking for her. Even she knows he can't. Arthur's father and family will find out she is pregnant and realize they have to send her to him after the child is born most likely.

@@jimstev1 she may have gotten pregnant, or worse, she could’ve gotten tuberculosis. Remember in episode 5, when their boat was tipped over by the ghost ship, Alex was flung from her bed and landed in the bed of the captain. He had blood in his pillow and around his bed. Her face hit the pillows before the ship fully tipped over. So there’s chance she could’ve caught the disease and then later when she sees Spencer again it’ll be to say goodbye or send a letter to him. Either way. We’ll have to wait and see. Too much speculations are flocking around.
